Alisa W.
Alisa Webb holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her passion for science and mathematics began at an early age, and she thrives on sharing that enthusiasm with others. As a proud Baton Rouge native, Alisa has taught **various introductory science topics and *mathematics at the K-10 level through tutoring and immersive STEM camps in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan area, impacting over 1,400 students in one summer alone.
With experience in both the aerospace industry and post-graduate academia, Alisa offers students valuable insights into the world of engineering, while helping to deepen their STEM knowledge. She is committed to helping students strengthen their technical skills, while igniting their curiosity for STEM by creating an environment that fosters learning and exploration. Outside of teaching, Alisa enjoys reading mystery and thriller novels, hiking, sightseeing, working on personal engineering projects, and participating in team sports.
Susan M.
Susan, a highly experienced, dedicated, and caring teacher, has taught students with special needs in grades kindergarten through third grade for over 30 years. Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in English and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from William Paterson University. She has standard New Jersey Teaching Certificates in Elementary Education and Teacher of the Handicapped.
Susan is very skilled at modifying lessons to address her students’ unique needs, challenges, and abilities. Her experience includes teaching reading/language arts, math, science and social studies to students with speech, language and learning disabilities, cognitive delays, ADHD, autism, and physical disabilities.
A lifelong New Jersey resident, Susan enjoys spending time with her family. Some of her favorite activities are going to the beach, watching movies, playing board games, reading, baking with her daughters, and taking their family dog for walks.

Brooke B.
Brooke B. is an experienced educator with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English, a teaching credential, and extensive tutoring experience. She has worked with students of all ages, specializing in English language arts, writing, and college application essays. Brooke is passionate about helping students develop strong writing skills and confidence in their abilities by tailoring lessons to their individual learning styles and interests.
In addition to tutoring, Brooke is currently furthering her expertise with certifications in addiction counseling and mental health first aid. She believes that a supportive and engaging learning environment is key to student success.
When she’s not helping students master the art of writing, Brooke can be found discussing Star Trek theories, collecting art she insists is “an investment,” or dramatically singing show tunes—sometimes all at once.

Nora is a third-year graduate student at the College of William & Mary, on track to become a certified school psychologist upon graduating in May 2025. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Marquette University and has several years of experience working with children in both clinical and educational settings. As a future school psychologist, Nora is well-versed in child development, learning differences, and evidence-based instructional strategies. She has extensive training in assessing cognitive and academic strengths, identifying learning barriers, and implementing tailored interventions to support student success. Her expertise allows her to adapt her tutoring methods to each student’s unique needs. She also incorporates interactive and multi-sensory activities to make learning engaging and effective. Taylor J.
Taylor is a Special Education Teacher and ABA Therapist. She holds a Masters in Teaching from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (UofT), and is working towards her Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification with the Florida Institute of Technology. She currently works with the English Montreal School Board and previously worked for the Toronto District School Board for three years. Taylor brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning challenges. Taylor’s expertise in creating and implementing personalized learning intervention plans makes learning accessible and fun for all learners, while building the confidence and skills for academic success.

Welcome, families! My name is Francesca and I am a dedicated K-6 tutor with a deep passion for education and its impact on young minds. I am currently pursuing a teaching degree at Lakehead University and hold a degree in Sociology and Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. With over two years of tutoring experience at Kumon and more than five years in childcare, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every session.
I strive to make learning engaging and meaningful, helping students build the confidence and understanding they need to be successful. Classrooms can be busy and unpredictable, making it easy for some students to fall behind despite their best efforts. Jessica C. is a former public school teacher of 13 years. She has ten years of experience in the field of special education and 3 years of experience teaching in the general education classroom. Jessica has been tutoring for 10 years and has extensive experience with virtual tutoring. She graduated from Towson University with a degree in special education. While teaching, she earned a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland in special education and another Master’s degree from Hood College in Educational Leadership. Robin C.
Robin C. has been in the education field for 12 years. Her journey began by being a substitute teacher for Washington County and Frederick County Public Schools for 6 years. During her time as a substitute teacher she had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students, teaching across all grades and subjects from K-8; including but not limited to music, physical education, and special education. Upon realizing her passion for helping students grow in their learning she attended Frostburg State University USMH where she earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, she began teaching grades 3-5 in the Montgomery County Public School system where she has been for the last six years. Robin’s Bachelor’s degree is in Photography and Computer Imagery which has contributed to the creativity she brings when teaching her students. Meeting students where they are as individuals is an important part of Robin’s teaching style.
