Eli C.
Elie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Hunter College and completed his teaching internship at Camden High School, where he taught students in grades 9 through 11. He later earned a Bachelor of Education focused on junior grade levels from Stockton University in 2023. These experiences prepared him to work with both middle and high school students in diverse learning environments.
Passionate about education, Elie enjoys connecting with students from different backgrounds and helping them grow academically and personally. His experience working with students across Philadelphia and surrounding communities has strengthened his commitment to supporting learners at every stage of their educational journey.
Outside the classroom, Elie tutors students from middle school through high school in mathematics, ranging from foundational skills to advanced courses such as calculus. He believes that building strong relationships with students is essential to helping them gain confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and reach their full potential. As both a teacher and mentor, Elie continuously develops new strategies to support student success and create engaging learning experiences. Farzaan
EN: Farzaan completed his undergraduate studies in Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo, where he was elected valedictorian for the Faculty of Mathematics. He is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning at McGill University, and he aspires to help students learn critical thinking and problem solving skills that are vital in becoming capable individuals in all facets of life. Farzaan has several years of experience tutoring students of all levels, across subjects ranging from elementary mathematics to university-level calculus and statistics. He prioritizes patience and adaptability in his tutoring, tailoring his approach to students’ individual strengths and needs in order to help them reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, Farzaan enjoys several hobbies, including chess, reading, and stand-up comedy!

FR: Nour a complété toutes ses études à Montréal et est très familière avec le système d’éducation québécois. Elle a gradué première de son école au primaire et au secondaire, et a été championne de son école trois années d’affilée au concours de mathématiques de l’Université de Waterloo. Lauréate de la bourse d’excellence Desjardins en Sciences de la nature au Cégep Bois-de-Boulogne ainsi que de la Médaille académique du Gouverneur général (bronze), elle a obtenu la cote R la plus élevée de sa cohorte. Nour étudie actuellement en médecine à l’McGill University.
EN: Nour completed all of her studies in Montreal and is very familiar with the Quebec education system. She graduated first in her class in both elementary and high school and was her school’s champion in the University of Waterloo Mathematics Competition for three consecutive years. A recipient of the Desjardins Excellence Scholarship in Natural Sciences at CEGEP Bois-de-Boulogne and the Governor General’s Special Bronze Academic Medal, she achieved the highest R-score in her cohort. Nour is currently studying medicine at McGill University.
Andrew D.
Andy has two Master’s degrees in History from the University of Glasgow and the University of Alabama. Most recently he was the Rothermere American Scholar at the University of Oxford’s Rothermere American Institute, with a research focus on the development of Scottish American identity in the long nineteenth century.
Andy has taught both American History and World History at the graduate level. He leans heavily into the Scottish university tradition, which employs a dialectical, discussion-led approach that encourages students to engage critically with historical interpretations, develop evidence-based arguments, and refine their thinking and writing through vigorous debate and scholarly dialogue.
Ugonma U.
Ugonma is a Chemical Engineering student at Western University, specializing in Biochemical and Environmental Engineering. With hands-on experience in academic mentorship and student leadership, including her role as a Residence Don, she has developed strong communication and interpersonal skills while supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds. Ugonma is passionate about helping students build confidence in math, science, and problem solving, and firmly believes that every learner thrives with a personalized approach. Her engineering background sharpens her ability to break down complex concepts into clear, digestible steps, making even the trickiest topics feel approachable. Neha is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with over 16 years of international and local teaching experience across early childhood, elementary, and secondary education. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Education, and specialized training in Early Childhood Care and Education.

Saniya N.
Saniya is a third-year Psychology and Sociology student at the University of Alberta with a strong passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. With experience in student mentorship, public speaking, and community engagement, Saniya brings a supportive and personalised approach to tutoring. She has worked as a Resident Assistant, where she guided and supported students in a fast-paced university environment, and has delivered educational presentations on brain health and cognition through the Brain Waves program at the University of Alberta. Saniya is particularly interested in cognitive psychology and enjoys helping students understand complex concepts by breaking them down into relatable and engaging lessons. Alongside her academic and professional experience, she is actively involved in community outreach and youth mentorship initiatives. Abhinav M.
Abhinav M, is an undergraduate Science student at the University of British Columbia, attending on a $110,000 UBC Schulich Leader and Presidential Scholarship. He completed his International Baccalaureate Diploma with a score of 44/45, placing in the 99th percentile globally, and achieved an SAT score of 1560.
Abhinav has extensive teaching experience, having instructed and mentored over 250 students from grades K-12. Working with community based organizations, non-profits, and local school divisions, he has designed engaging curricula and provided tailored, one-on-one support for early learners, students with disabilities, and group students.
In addition to his educational background, Abhinav is an active scientific researcher with past experiences at the University of Saskatchewan and UBC Biomedical Engineering. In his free time, he is a TEDx speaker and competes in debate at an international level.
Sana A.
Sana A. holds a joint degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
