ELLIOTT D.
Elliott is a student at McMaster University, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics with Co-op, with minors in Nuclear Engineering and Economics. He has a cumulative GPA of 10.43 on the 12-point GPA scale (equivalent to 3.86 on the 4-point scale) after second year. He graduated from St. Michael’s Choir School (SMCS) with a 96% average, as a deeply valued member of the school community. Elliott has extensive experience teaching, counselling, and mentoring others. He was President of the SMCS Tutoring Club, where he tutored students and connected students with other tutors, and Assistant Coach to the SMCS Junior Volleyball team, where he helped to train and coach younger athletes. As a child, Elliott spent his summers in Algonquin Park at Camp Arowhon, first as a camper, then as a Leader In Training, and Camp Counsellor where he was responsible for the safety, social cohesion, and individual development of children aged 6 to 15. He also taught Archery and Rock Climbing, and acted as Section Head In Training, where he mentored and coached junior coworkers. At McMaster University, Elliott works as a Community Advisor, where he mentors first year students to support their social, mental, and academic success in their university journey.
In his free time, Elliott enjoys many hobbies. He has a deep love of music, both classical and contemporary, that he has nurtured since his elementary and high school days, where he was a member of his school’s esteemed choir. He has practiced Kempo Karate since age four and is a black belt with Horizon Martial Arts in the Beaches, and continues to enjoy climbing and archery from his time at summer camp. He is a hobby chef and loves making delicious food for his loved ones to enjoy. Elliott is guided by his deep passions – learning, nurturing others, enacting positive change in the world, and many more. Among other things, these passions have led him to voraciously consume literature and media on a variety of subjects, especially mathematics and physics, and have fueled his future career aspirations in clean energy through nuclear engineering. Rébéka H.
Rébéka Hudon is a French Canadian, Ontario Certified Teacher currently completing a Long-Term Occasional (LTO) assignment in English at the secondary level in Ontario. She previously taught in Québec as a French Resource Teacher and secondary-level educator in Arts, Media, and Ethics, including senior Ethics courses. She has also supported English Language Learners in French-speaking school environments and taught French Core from grade 4 to grade 7 during an LTO. Rébéka is currently completing Additional Qualifications in French as a Second Language, as well as First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Studies.
Her teaching experience spans English, French, Ethics, visual arts, media arts, and contemporary studies. She has designed and facilitated a range of student projects including animation, printmaking, sculpture,language presentations, and literary analysis.

Princess A.
Princess A. is a Master’s student in International Education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. She brings years of experience tutoring and mentoring students across subject areas, test preparation, and college readiness, with particular expertise in English and College Essay Writing.
To date, Princess has guided more than 120 students — in the U.S. and internationally — through the college application process. Her students have earned admission to the University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, Tufts University, Brandeis University, the University of Hong Kong, Middlebury College, and beyond.
Princess loves to travel and has been to 10 countries so far. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her cat, tackling last-minute painting and crocheting projects, and exploring her neighborhood with a film camera!
JB Brooks.
JB enjoys helping students simplify problems into smaller pieces of a puzzle. His goal is to teach students the key to breaking down math problems into simpler steps before tackling the larger problem. He communicates on the level of the student in a way that feels relatable.
JB is a rising sophomore in the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. As mechanical engineering major, JB has a strong math and physics background. JB is also a part of Army ROTC where he utilizes organization, discipline and leadership skills. JB enjoys playing basketball and football, skiing, backpacking, and fishing.
Fanwei (Mary) Z.
Mary is an experienced Mandarin educator and former university professor with more than 20 years of teaching and academic leadership experience. Before relocating to the United States, she served as a Professor and Director of the Engineering Management Department at Shandong Technology and Business University in China, where she taught courses in both Mandarin and English while leading major academic research initiatives.
For the past five years, Mary has taught Mandarin in the United States, working with students ranging from kindergarten through college, as well as adult learners. She specializes in helping students of all experience levels—from beginners to advanced speakers—develop confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Mandarin Chinese.
Mary’s teaching style is interactive, engaging, and highly personalized to each student’s goals and learning style. She incorporates authentic materials and multimedia resources—including videos, audio clips, PowerPoint presentations, and widely respected curriculum programs such as Easy Steps to Chinese, HSK, and YCT—to create dynamic, effective lessons that keep students motivated and engaged.

Dr. Sophia N.
Dr. Sophia N. recently earned her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she also competed on the cross country and track team. During her graduate studies, Sophia was actively involved in K-12 outreach, which prompted her interest in educating children. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum at Drexel University and is working toward her certification as an elementary school teacher. In addition to her strong background in science, Sophia enjoys teaching math and has several years of experience tutoring K-12 students in both math and science. She understands how daunting these subjects can be, but with encouragement and practice she helps students recognize their capabilities. Outside of teaching, she is an avid movie lover and enjoys walking.
Dr. Samantha N.
Dr. Samantha N. is an interdisciplinary archaeologist with years of tutoring and teaching experience in social science, natural science, and math. She graduated from Cornell College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Archaeology. In 2026, she graduated from Boston University with a Ph.D. in Anthropological Archaeology. Throughout this time, she gained experience in tutoring and teaching students at the collegiate, high school, and middle school levels. She loves archaeology because of the way that it connects to so many other disciplines: chemistry, geography, history, and economics, just to name a few! As a teaching fellow in Boston University’s Department of Anthropology, she used hands-on activities and guided questions to help her students learn how to learn. She believes that this allows students to comprehend and retain information better than if they had relied solely on rote memorization. In 2022, she received Boston University’s Outstanding Teaching Fellow in Archaeology Award for her dedication to her students and her contributions to the course material. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys knitting, spending time with her cats, and gardening.
ROBYN K.
Robyn is an Ontario Certified Teacher and a recent graduate from the Master of Teaching program at the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She also holds a Master of Arts in English from Toronto Metropolitan University. Robyn is qualified to teach Intermediate/Senior English and Social Sciences and is currently pursuing an additional qualification in Intermediate Math.
Robyn teaches with patience and flexibility, tailoring lessons to the unique needs of her students. As a tutor, she wants to help students discover the joy of learning through meaningful and engaging activities.
In her spare time, Robyn volunteers with the Toronto Public Library’s Leading to Reading Program where she works one-on-one with an elementary student on their reading and writing. Mansargun K.
Mansargun is an Ivey MBA graduate from Western University and an Aerospace Engineer from IIT Kanpur. She is joining a leading consulting firm as a Senior Consultant in June 2026 and brings 5+ years of tutoring and coaching experience to her students.
Her teaching style focuses on problem-solving tips and shortcuts so students never have to rely on rote memorization. She breaks down core concepts in an intuitive way, helping students truly understand the “why” behind the material. So they never go blank in an exam again. She has supported students across engineering math, calculus, physics, intro computer science (Python, SQL), MBA-level finance, accounting, and economics, as well as standardized tests including the GRE (332/340), TOEFL (119/120), CELPIP (12/12), and GMAT Quant. Outside of academics, Mansargun is a theatre artist and a builder at heart. An engineer who loves business.
