Yaye B.
Yaye is a certified French and ESL teacher. After moving from Dakar to Louisiana to complete her bachelor’s degree at Nicholls State University and later her Master’s degree of Education at the University of Holy Cross, she fell in love with this beautiful and vibrant state. As the daughter of educators, Yaye became passionate about learning and Arts at a very early age. She eventually became a very dedicated teacher serving the beautiful young minds in Jefferson and Orleans communities. Yaye is multilingual and has about a decade of successful teaching and tutoring experience. She taught several subjects at different grade levels including Math, Science, ESL, and French. Through teaching, Yaye has been able to foster her love for languages, Arts and Math. Her rich educational and cultural background combined with her teaching expertise has allowed her to master the necessary skills to help her students reach their full potential.
KITTY M.
Kitty is an educator with a 31+ year career teaching high school English, predominantly to juniors and seniors. She holds an MA in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and has taught 25 years in Jesuit education. She absolutely loves working with teenagers, and has extensive experience working with college essays, critical thinking skills, analysis, reading comprehension, and all levels of writing instruction.

Faraz is a Computer Engineering student at the University of Guelph with a strong passion for problem-solving and creativity. His love for these skills naturally led him to tutoring, where he supports students in both math and physics.
With experience working with a wide range of learners, Faraz has helped students prepare for tests and exams while building their confidence and understanding. He believes that by keeping lessons clear, engaging, and encouraging, students can grow both academically and personally.

As a mathematics major, Danica Reddock takes education seriously and she is committed to helping students succeed. Kevin is a former high school math teacher with over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience. He has created and taught three math courses for a local California college and has previously taught at Palm Beach State College in Florida and CT State Community College in Norwalk, Connecticut. Kevin is also the author of two math books: The SAT Mathematics Solution Guide and Quantitative Reasoning. Elizabeth B.
Elizabeth B. has been in education for 35 years. She worked in Student Services and teaching English in the GTA including Chaminade College School, Crescent School and St. Michael’s College School. In her career as a senior English teacher, she has three decades of experience in the writing of university applications and supplemental essays. She has worked in male-centric schools for most of her career and has an extensive background in the studies and research of how boys learn. In addition to academic support, Elizabeth works with students on executive functioning, organization, time management and study skills to allow for personal and academic success in the increasingly busy world of students with co-curricular and obligations outside of school.
Elizabeth’s youngest son is in Grade 12. Her other 4 children have completed both college and university programs up to and including the PhD level. She believes in the nurturing of the whole person and works with students to highlight and develop the skills and attributes that make them unique while enhancing their independent learning.
Elizabeth completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University, teaching at Concordia University in Montreal and a Diploma in Creative Writing at Humber College. Along the way she has also completed 17 additional qualifications in Education, including Special Education, Reading Specialist and Guidance and Career Specialist designations as well as courses in Narrative Therapy and Bibliotherapy.

Tareque M.
Tareque is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with majors in English and History. He is currently completing his Master of Teaching at OISE (University of Toronto) and is on the path to becoming an Ontario Certified Teacher. As part of his graduate work, Tareque is researching the benefits of using video games as pedagogy and course material, exploring how they can create new pathways for learning and highlight underrepresented skills in education.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Tareque holds TEFL/TESOL certification and has taught ESL/EFL to a wide range of learners, from young children to seniors. His tutoring philosophy emphasizes heuristic learning, strong study habits, and differentiated instruction, tailoring his approach to each student’s strengths, interests, and learning preferences.
