Erin R.

Erin is a dedicated and driven McGill psychology student, minoring in English cultural studies. She is set to commence her graduate studies in the fall of 2023, to begin her track towards receiving a Master and Doctorate of psychology. She works to enrich the English reading and writing skills of students at the university level and below and offers Intensive aid for research papers and literary essays, including thesis formatting, paragraph structuring, and strategies for syntax and grammar. She assists students enrolled in high school AP psychology, as well as those taking psychology courses in CEGEP and university.

Ibrahim B.

Ibrahim is completing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Concordia University after having acquired therefrom BEng and MASc degrees. For six years, Ibrahim has worked as a teaching assistant and lab demonstrator for a variety of mathematics, physics, and engineering courses while also offering private tutoring services to students at his academic institution.

His specialties are Math (including Calculus and Linear), Physics, and Programming (C++, Python) all up to the university level. Ibrahim has received some amount of recognition for his academic performance be it in the form of appearing in the Dean’s list or humbly accepting different academic scholarships and awards.

Ibrahim regards few roles to be as fulfilling as that of the teacher to the student and seeks to emulate this idea in both his professional and personal lives.

Finn K.

Finn is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science at McGill University. He tutors private clients over the summer in his hometown, Brooklyn, NY, specializing in middle school and high school math. He has a passion for learning and teaching, and he is excited to collaborate with you on your studies. His outside interests of academics include basketball, skiing, blockchain, and cooking.

Parmida E.

Parmida is a JD/BCL student at the McGill Faculty of Law. Previously, she received her M.A. and B.A. Honours at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C. She has over seven years of teaching experience, including in course design, seminar facilitation, essay writing, and research methods.

She has also worked as a professional copywriter and marketing expert, and enjoys advising students on business fundamentals, marketing, and adjacent topics.

Sophia C.

EN: Sophia graduated from The Study School and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce at Concordia University with a major in Marketing. Sophia has experience tutoring elementary school students for over two years now and is always willing to accept any challenge thrown at her, making her student’s goals, her goals. She is passionate about helping students reach their academic goals by adjusting her teaching style to meet the unique learning needs of each of her students!

Holly C.

Holly has her DEC in Law, Society, and Justice from Marianopolis College, and her Bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University with a major in International Affairs and a minor in Journalism and Mass Communication. She supports students in political science, English, Geography, and courses in American, Canadian, Quebec, Western Civilization, and Middle Eastern History. Holly’s students can expect her to tailor her coaching to best suit their unique learning styles. Additionally, she will always keep concepts relevant by teaching through the lens of “why does this matter?”. 

Justin D.

Justin is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who currently works as a Tax Associate at Richter. He holds his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (CPA Program) from McGill University. During his time in University, Justin also spent a semester abroad in England at the University of Manchester.

Justin has been a teaching assistant in McGill’s CPA program for the past two years and lead a Birthright Israel trip this past summer.

Curtis R.

Curtis has been tutoring for over 5 years, and specializes in teaching high school math, specifically precalculus. He started tutoring at his elementary school, moving on to high school, then at his college as well as at tutoring organizations such as Wyzant and Liberty Tutoring.

Joshua T.

Joshua recently completed his last semester for a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology from Concordia University. He is currently in the process of applying to master’s programs at McGill University. After graduating with an honorary distinction from West-Island College in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, he attended Vanier College and graduated with a DEC of health sciences.

He has worked for seven years as a tutor, both independently as well as for various companies such as Paper tutoring. Over the years, he has had the pleasure of garnering extensive pedagogy experience, having spent a great deal of time working with children and teenagers of various backgrounds and grade levels. He has also worked as a counselor and supervisor at YCC, a sleepaway camp located in Huberdeau Quebec. In addition to tutoring, Josh has found a great deal of success in various business and creative ventures, which has taught him a great deal, leaving him with skills and perspectives which he finds great pleasure in sharing with others.

Patrick G.

Patrick is a recent graduate of the Life Sciences program at Queen’s University. He has been tutoring for 10 years, with extensive experience in CEGEP and university chemistry, math and physics.
