Anne C.
Hello! I’m Anne, a certified Ontario teacher with 9 years of experience specializing in math education. My passion for teaching goes beyond just helping students solve problems; I believe in fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. To achieve this, I use the Singapore Math approach, which emphasizes building concepts from concrete examples to visual representations and then moving to abstract thinking.
I tailor my teaching to meet each student’s unique learning style and needs. Whether working with ESL students or those with special education needs, including Autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, I strive to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. With tools like GeoGebra, Nearpod, and Kahoot!, I make math both interactive and fun, ensuring that students not only grasp the material but also enjoy the process of learning.
I am dedicated to creating a positive classroom where every student feels valued, respected, and supported in their academic journey and personal growth. I look forward to helping students thrive and reach their full potential!
