A specialist in physics education, Franco holds a Master’s degree in Physics Education from Concordia University (CGPA 4.15/4.30) and an Honours B.Sc. in Physics with a Minor in Computer Science from McGill University (CGPA 3.99/4.00). He has over a decade of experience teaching and tutoring science, physics, and mathematics to high school and CEGEP students in both English and French.
From 2020 to 2025, Franco taught physics and mathematics in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in Japan. He developed and delivered engaging lessons grounded in research-based pedagogy, guided numerous student research projects, and led interdisciplinary science initiatives. His students consistently achieved results above the IB world average, and he received his school’s Top Teacher Award in 2023.

Sofia Z.
ENG : Sofia earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics with the French Immersion Program (2025) at the University of Ottawa. Bilingual in both French and English. She has worked in laboratories specialized in biophysics and photonics at the university. In her theoretical classes she excelled in many of her mathematics courses (Calculus, Linear Algebra) and her physics courses (Theoretical Physics, Mechanics, Optics, Quantum Mechanics, Biophysics, Astrophysics, and more).
Experienced in tutoring, teaching, and leading a few workshops in science. She hopes she becomes a high school physics teacher that can inspire young minds to explore STEM. Beyond the workplace, Sofia has many different hobbies including hiking, camping, swimming, reading, and skiing !

Elle a travaillé dans des laboratoires spécialisés en biophysique et en photonique à l’université. Zachary M.
Zachary M. is presently in his last year of his study for his dual masters in math and physics at UTSA. Some may say that in doing so, he is trying to prolong his adolescence and avoid adulthood. But truth be told, Zach is very passionate about his studies. This was not always the case. Admittedly, Zach was mathematically challenged in middle school (his mom would help him with his algebra homework). But something clicked for him in high school. He took every AP math and science class that he could and went so far as to participate in academic UIL. After graduation from high school, Zach began studying math and physics at UTSA. He took up a job as a physics tutor on a whim but came to discover that he really enjoys helping people learn. Now as a graduate student, Zach teaches introductory physics labs. In doing so, he does his best to accommodate all of his students while simultaneously emphasizing the mathematical and theoretical underpinnings of physics.
Maxx F.
ENG: Maxx recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Concordia University, having completed three internships throughout. His participation as a karate instructor and experience tutoring a range of ages has helped structure his knack for encouraging effective learning techniques in students, tailored to their needs.
Maxx finds great importance in meeting students at their level, and helping them develop healthy study habits outside of tutoring sessions. He recognizes the value of patience and engagement in a classroom setting, and sees to it that a student’s concerns in matters of studies, stress and time management are addressed.
In addition to academics, Maxx is highly interested in topics like the process of game development, web programming/UX, snowboarding and cooking!
FR: Maxx a récemment obtenu son baccalauréat en génie logiciel de l’Université Concordia, tout en effectuant trois stages dans le processus. Jaden graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in French. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work on research in a chemistry lab during a five-month study abroad in Strasbourg, France. Jaden has worked in teaching roles for children all her life, and she’s spent the last year teaching middle school science (6th-8th grade) at a K-12 school. She helped further develop the curricula and increased the emphasis on laboratory experiments each class, convicted to teach through hands-on experience. Whether she is teaching horseback riding or forces and work, Jaden believes that allowing students to forge their own way to understanding Nature’s laws helps them develop confidence and fires their curiosity.

ENG: David is a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student with a strong passion for teaching.
