Tammy graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education, and completed a Masters Degree in Education from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Tammy has taught high school mathematics the past 25+ years in Appleton, Wisconsin, Fort Myers and Sarasota, Florida. She has tutored both middle and high school students for homework help, to pass ACT/SAT, PSAT, CLT, and the HESI Nursing Exam. She is very patient and nonjudgmental. It makes her happy when a student finally “gets it” understands a concept they couldn’t previously.
Outside of school, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and reading.

Eric B.
Eric Barbosa is Certified 4th-8th grade math teacher in San Antonio, TX with 10 years of experience with 6th-8th grade math. He has 23 years of experience in middle school education, which include teaching math and coaching. Eric enjoys teaching students and helping them to understand mathematical relationships in a way that makes math fun and relevant.
Within Eric’s professional responsibilities are academic leadership, curriculum planning and data analysis. Eric also plans academic interventions for students in need. He finds satisfaction in inspiring student motivation and the joy of learning through success, confidence and fun. One of his favorite quotes is, “If you make your work fun, then you get to wake up and go to “fun” everyday.”

Bucky K.
Shubhayan earned his Master’s Degree in Applications of Mathematics at the Chennai Mathematical Institute in 2013 and is currently pursuing independent studies in Machine Learning and Data Science.
With over 12 years of experience in Mathematics teaching and tutoring at various levels ranging from middle school to professional education, he incorporates his love for the subject with a passion for sharing and exchanging knowledge to create a unique learning experience for each of his students.
He is a former candidate delegate for the World Cube Association, and his special skills and interests include Cooking, Karaoke, Board Games and being able to solve a Rubik’s Cube in under twenty seconds, one handed.

Reza is a PhD physicist from Purdue University with nearly two decades of experience teaching physics and mathematics across a wide range of levels, from high school to postgraduate education. In his free time, he enjoys practicing Muay Thai, watching murder mystery shows, and reading novels.
Jamari G.
Jamari is a dedicated educator and certified instructional coach with diverse backgrounds in special education, elementary instruction, academic tutoring, educational research, and scholarship application review. In the past, he was an ABA and worked closely with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is currently an instructional coach, where he supports new teachers in developing effective classroom practices; alongside this role, he is a classroom teacher. Jamari has taught a range of subjects, including special education, elementary core academics, middle school, and high school Algebra I, US History, and English. He has even earned recognition as a Teacher of the Year nominee for his impact on student growth in math and ELA.
Since 2018, Jamari has worked as a private tutor for students in grades 3–11, helping many improve by two grade levels or more and achieve top scores on state assessments. He holds a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from the University of Louisiana–Monroe and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. It is during this time he made the conscious effort to study insects—mosquitoes in particular; these mosquitoes were reared in a controlled environment within a science lab. He’s clearly a lifelong learner and was called to teach. In his calling as an educator, he possesses a Level 3 teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement.
He is currently working toward receiving an add-on certification as an Educational Diagnostician. He possesses certifications in elementary computer science education through LSU and supports learning with technology. With a strong foundation in data-driven instruction and individualized learning, Jamari empowers students to reach their full potential.

Having started out as a peer tutor in high school, she has now been tutoring at private companies and learning centres for over 3 years and has experience working with students from elementary to CEGEP level, both one-on-one and using small-group instruction. Kristine is a Certified Teacher with more than 30 years’ experience both in the classroom and as a tutor. She graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Math Education. Kristine spent most of the 30 years in Jefferson Parish Public School System high schools teaching everything from remedial through honors math classes and taught 5th grade for 3 years. She loves one-on-one work, as it allows the time for her to verify the student’s strengths and weaknesses to focus on areas where improvement is needed. She uses topics that interest each student for a more personal and engaging learning experience. As a tutor, Kristine is very dedicated to using methods that each student can learn from.
