Jaden A.
Jaden graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in French. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work on research in a chemistry lab during a five-month study abroad in Strasbourg, France. Jaden has worked in teaching roles for children all her life, and she’s spent the 24-25 school year teaching middle school science; She helped further develop the curricula and increased the emphasis on laboratory experiments each class, convicted to teach through hands-on experience. Since her teaching experience, she has transitioned to tutoring and substitute teaching. She has experience tutoring middle school and high school science and math, and welcomes students with diverse backgrounds and educational experiences. Whether she is teaching horseback riding or forces and work, Jaden believes that allowing students to forge their own way to understanding Nature’s laws helps them develop confidence and fires their curiosity.

Mia G.
Mia is a dedicated STEM educator, academic mentor, and aspiring physician with extensive experience helping students of all ages achieve academic success. Since beginning her tutoring career in 2021, she has worked with students ranging from preschool through college, providing personalized instruction across a wide variety of subjects while helping students build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Mia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from St. Mary’s University and recently completed her Master of Science in Personalized Molecular Medicinefrom the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Her advanced education reflects a deep commitment to science, medicine, and lifelong learning as she continues pursuing her goal of attending medical school and ultimately becoming a neonatal geneticist.
Her strong academic background allows her to support students in a broad range of subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, English Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and advanced test preparation. She also provides support for AP-level coursework, STAAR preparation, PSAT/SAT preparation, college admissions essays, and even advanced exam preparation such as the MCAT and LSAT.
Beyond traditional tutoring, Mia has extensive experience working with students who have diverse learning needs, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, dyslexia, and Down syndrome. She is trained in evidence-based literacy approaches, including the Wilson Reading Program and Orton-Gillingham methodologies, allowing her to effectively support struggling readers while helping students build confidence and academic skills.
While attending St. Mary’s University, Mia served as an Academic Tutor through the Rattler Success Center, where she tutored college students in General Biology, Genetics, and Cell Biology. She also participated in numerous undergraduate research projects spanning genetics, cancer biology, neuroscience, microbiology, behavioral psychology, biochemistry, and physiology, further strengthening her ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a way students can understand.
