Brianna is currently pursuing a Masters in Teaching from University of Toronto’s OISE program. She completed her undergraduate degree in French studies with a minor in English, graduating with honours and a certificate of bilingualism. She enjoys working with children and incorporates fun into learning! With experience working at the YMCA’s before and after program as a team lead, as well as working full day kindergarten, Brianna feels well equipped to enhance the learning experience of any child from any learning background. She is organized, patient, and always willing to find another way around any problem. Brianna enjoys music, literature, and making new friends! She is determined to make a change in the educational system and help children feel that they are safe to ask any question. Her teaching style is inquiry-based and driven by a desire to make learning accessible and exciting.

With a Master’s degree in English as a postgraduate and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Savyasachin has honed the art of teaching over an impressive 10+ years in the field. Through their subject matter expertise in English, Communication skills, and Social Science, they help students to excel in school and discover their aptitude and academic interest for higher studies.

Gaya S.
Gayathri S. is well known for her experience for working with children and her passion for teaching. She has her Bachelor of Arts and her Bachelor of Education to certify her teaching credentials in Ontario. She is a member of the IB World School, where she has taught in private schools, tutoring and educating primary and junior students. She is nurturing and focuses on creating a safe space, a child-centered approach in students acknowledging their learning abilities and accomplishing their educational needs.
ERIN B.
Erin graduated from a thesis-based Masters program in Physical Activity Sciences at Université de Montréal, with a specialization in Sport Psychology. She is bilingual and completed the majority of this degree in French. Previously, Erin attended StFX University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics in the Pre-education stream, with a minor in French and a pair in Fine Arts. She is highly knowledgeable in the French language and in the areas of academic and scientific writing. Her primary teachables include French, English, Health, Science, and Art. Outside of school, Erin is a competitive track and field pentathlete and heptathlete, with a diverse athletic background in soccer and hockey which she competed in for over 15 years.
Erin has experience working with children of all ages as a track and field coach, gymnastics coach, lifeguard and swim instructor, and Fit 4 Life Student Leader.
LISA T.
Lisa believes that the best learning happens when students have fun, have a choice, and are engaged in their learning. She is an animated, passionate, and caring teacher. Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Education as a French Immersion generalist. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Calgary. Lisa has been a full-time K-8 French Immersion classroom teacher in Calgary for the past 17 years, including teaching English, grade one online, social-emotional learning, coaching sports, dance instructor, foods teacher, and was a learning coach. As a published author and a keynote speaker, she specializes in whole-child learning, infusing academic subjects with food, language, environmental education, movement, and intergenerational connections.
Lisa is a Certified Health and Yoga Coach, Culinary Nutrition Expert, and Certified cook. She marries this experience with her many years of teaching and parenting experience. She has taught in Thailand, Whistler, Springbank, Airdrie, Calgary, and Cochrane. Lisa is eager to work with families and students to continue encouraging a love of learning.
FARAH M.
Farah is a passionate teacher with more than 15 years of experience in teaching at schools and tutoring. She has a Master’s degree in Education and linguistics, and speaks more than 3 languages fluently. She has studied and taught art as well in all its mediums. She also studied singing, playing the acoustic guitar, and music reading at the conservatory. She has worked with kids from preschool to grade 12, as well as with adults. Her classes combine the academics and the fun activities, and she likes to incorporate visual arts to make her lessons more interesting and easier to comprehend. She strongly believes that being a teacher is the most rewarding job because, not only she helps shaping the students’ future, but she also learns a lot from them.
Matt P.
Matt is a Junior and Intermediate Ontario Certified Teacher working during the school year with the Simcoe County District School Board. He graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History, and he completed his Bachelors of Education at the University of Ottawa. Matt has continued his professional development in teaching by taking additional qualifications courses in Special Education and Math at the Intermediate level.
Matt has experience teaching at the Vienna European School in Austria where he implemented and instructed a competitive international curriculum to students aged 10 to 14. He also spent time teaching Junior grades at Stouffville Christian School where he coached the hockey, volleyball, basketball, softball and track and field teams. Since he was young, Matt has spent numerous years as a camp counsellor and sports instructor where he has been harnessing his passion and commitment to working with youth. Through an intense teaching and tutoring schedule, Matt continues to expand his teaching strategies by building strong foundations with his students in areas such as reading, writing and math.
While teaching in a classroom has allowed Matt to develop an enthusiastic and engaging approach to teaching, he understands that true growth and development in fundamental learning areas comes through 1 on 1 interaction. Character growth and relationship building are integral pillars for Matt’s teaching style and certainly help foster a more productive and successful learning environment.
Outside of the classroom, Matt is a sports-driven individual whose love for physical activity is often intertwined with his teaching. He is an enthusiastic supporter of various hockey, basketball and football teams and enjoys sharing these passions with his students. Matt is thrilled to join the Prep Academy team!
HARMANPREET B.
Harman is an Ontario Certified Senior Teacher that Specializes in Mathematics and Science and works with students from Junior kindergarten to high school at ROTMAN ARTS & SCIENCE SCHOOL, Vaughan . Harman graduated with her Masters in Mathematics, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Education
her approach to teaching is to focus on helping her students understand and master the material, rather than just memorize formulas or techniques. She believes that this is a key to long-term success in any subject.
To achieve this, Harman uses numerous teaching methods and resources in her lessons. This might include interactive investigation, problem- solving exercises, or visual aids such as diagram graphs or flow charts. She also encourages her students to ask questions and actively participate in the learning process, this helps them develop a deeper understanding of the subject and makes the learning process more enjoyable.
Knowing that there are different learning styles, Harman makes an effort to tailor her lessons to individual needs and learning styles. For Example, if a student is more visual, she might use more diagrams and flow charts in her lessons, while if a student is more hands-on, she might use more interactive or problem-solving exercises .
In her spare time, she loves to draw sketches, cook and spend time exploring nature.
Overall, her goal as a tutor is to share her knowledge and expertise in a way that helps learners succeed.
Diana F.
Diana is an Ontario certified teacher who has had a successful career spanning over 25 years (since 1997) in education with the Toronto Board. She began her career in teaching as a Deaf-blind Facilitator, then acquiring her degree in education with a specialist in visual arts from York University in 2005.
Diana prides herself as a lifelong learner and encourages her students to be the same. She has a patient and supportive approach to teaching. Her special education background coupled with visual arts allows her to support and provide varying and unique ways to support all types of learners, in order to help them meet their full potential.
Diana is passionate about the arts, animals and the environment. When she is not teaching she can be found creating art, tending to her ample collection of plants, hiking, and spending time with close friends and family.
