Clément B.

Clément poursuit actuellement une maîtrise en Génie de la production automatisée à l’École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) de Montréal. Il est diplômé de l’École des Mines d’Alès, en France, où il s’est spécialisé en Performance Industrielle et Systèmes Mécatroniques. Titulaire d’un baccalauréat scientifique (spécialité mathématiques et physique-chimie), il a également suivi deux années de classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles (filière PCSI/PC), où il a développé une solide rigueur scientifique et une méthode de travail efficace.

Janine is projected to graduate Western University in May 2026 with a Major in Chemistry and a Minor in Writing Studies. Alongside years of teaching experience in the arts, she tutors students in science and math at primary, junior, intermediate, and senior levels. In 2025, Janine completed an internship with Environment and Climate Change Canada, where she worked as a laboratory technician with the National Laboratory for Environmental Testing. She plans to pursue a Masters in Science in Physical and Analytical Chemistry at Western University upon graduation. Janine believes that the most effective teaching strategies involve building relationships with her students by ensuring she is attentive to their needs and fostering a safe learning environment. Janine is able to tutor students from grades K-12.

Peter D.

Peter has a Master’s degree in Computational Physics from the University of Edinburgh. He has experience teaching physics and math to an undergraduate level through working as a teaching assistant during his studies. In addition, he has worked with secondary school students (grades 7–12) through one on one tutoring in mathematics.

Alongside his teaching background, Peter has a strong foundation in scientific computing and programming. He is highly experienced in coding and is able to teach Python to students interested in developing computational skills.

Marah is a McGill University graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and eight years of tutoring experience. Her tutoring career began at John Abbott College where professors recognized her academic excellence and recommended her to assist other students. A specialist in physics education, Franco holds a Master’s degree in Physics Education from Concordia University (CGPA 4.15/4.30) and an Honours B.Sc. in Physics with a Minor in Computer Science from McGill University (CGPA 3.99/4.00). He has over a decade of experience teaching and tutoring science, physics, and mathematics to high school and CEGEP students in both English and French.

Il est également professeur agrégé de mathématiques, une distinction hautement sélective dans le système éducatif français.

Saba earned an Economics degree and is now pursuing two combined degrees at the University of Calgary: a BSc in Mathematics and a BCom in Finance. She brings nearly two years of tutoring experience from a children’s charity, where she worked with kids from all backgrounds and with different abilities.

From a very young age, her father kindled her interest in mathematics through playful arithmetic games. The more she learned, the more she fell in love with it. Today, she devotes herself to this passion. She finds fulfillment in sharing and exchanging knowledge.

Saba believes that a patient, supportive approach can inspire a lifelong passion for learning. Friends describe her as caring and nurturing, and her motherly nature makes children feel comfortable.

RALPH S.

Ralph is near completion of his combined degree program at the University of Lethbridge. He is in the General Major in the Sciences/Math Education program. Ralph has completed teaching practicums through the University of Lethbridge and aspires to be a teacher. Ralph is passionate about helping students succeed and enjoy their learning. He also has experience tutoring. You can expect Ralph to be flexible and punctual in addition to building positive relationships with his students. Ralph understands that learning is enhanced through positive relationships and so strives to connect with his students. Some of Ralph’s hobbies and interests are reading, being in the outdoors, spending quality time with his dog, and running.

Jonah P-B

FR: Jonah étudie présentement en génie aérospatial à l’École Polytechnique de Montréal. Avant cela, il a étudié en sciences de la santé au collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. Il a des connaissances approfondies des programmes de physique et de mathématique du secondaire au CÉGEP que ce soit l’algèbre, le calcul différentiel et intégral, la statique ou la mécanique.

Parmi, ses expériences précédentes, il a fait du tutorat pour ses pairs à partir du secondaire, où il les a aidé dans les matières plus difficiles pour eux. Il a aussi de l’expérience en éducation spécialisé, ce qui lui a permis de développer sa patience et sa douceur.

Sa méthode d’enseignement est centrée sur la compréhension des besoins individuels de chaque étudiant et il essaye de rendre des problèmes complexes plus accessibles avec des explications claires et des exemples concrets.

ENG: Jonah is an aerospace engineering student at Polytechnique Montreal. He attended CEGEP at Brebeuf where he studied health sciences. He has in-depth knowledge of the maths and physics curriculums from high school up to CEGEP from algebra and calculus to statics and mechanics.

His previous experiences include peer tutoring both at High School and CEGEP, where he helped his peers excel in areas in which they were lacking.

His tutoring philosophy is centered on understanding the individual learning needs of students and making complex concepts relatable with easily understandable explanations that relate to concrete situations.

MANDY L.

Mandy is an experienced Math teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, Honours degree. She is very passionate about Math and instilling a love of math in her students. Mandy has taught every level of high school math and is extremely familiar with the Ontario Math curriculum as she is involved in editing & publishing math textbooks for a well know publishing company. Mandy has helped students prepare for math competitions from G7 and above and she offers prep sessions for SAT Math – her students have achieved excellent results. In her spare time, she loves reading mystery novels and hiking outdoors.
