Kerrin C.
Kerrin has been an experienced teacher in Asia for 12 years, teaching senior chemistry, senior biology, mathematics 10, science 10, and physics 11. Kerrin is very passionate about science education and has numerous experiences assisting students to achieve their academic goals.
Kerrin has recently returned from Asia teaching first at Nisga’a Elementary Secondary School and currently teaching at Whistler Secondary School. Outside of work he often engages in numerous sporting activities.
Zahra S.
With a passion for the science and chemistry and over 10 years of teaching experience at secondary and post-secondary levels, Zahra brings a wealth of knowledge to the learning sessions. Zahra holds PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universite Laval in Quebec, author of numerous research publications, recipient of Vanier Graduate Scholarship provided by NSERC and is currently in the last year of Teaching Education Program at Brock University becoming Ontario Certified Teacher soon. She has significant experience in teaching chemistry at very high level of satisfaction reported by her students for both regular Ontario curriculum and IB and AP programs. She has been working with students of varying age and background both in public and private systems in Ontario. She works to accommodate all with differentiated instruction based on individual’s needs and preferences in an equitable and responsive environment. Her teaching philosophy centers on making chemistry accessible and exciting for all students, fostering both academic growth and curiosity. She has also catered various students for chemistry and science tutoring in one-in one based on each student’s need. She is a dedicated teacher helping students foster their self-confidence and learning potential to reach high academic achievement and ownership of their learning.

Elsie is a certified teacher with a deep love for nature. Originally from the West Coast, Elsie first studied for her Bachelor of Science (specializing in birds & parasites) before deciding to pursue a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Sciences. Elsie has been living and working in Manitoba for 6 years now, where the winters are not as terrible as most people say.
An experienced High School teacher, Elsie’s true passion is teaching outside of the classroom. She has worked for several years as an educator at Assiniboine Park Zoo, fostering connections with nature for students and adults.
Elsie has worked with students of all ages in a range of subject areas, and loves seeing the lightbulb moment when something becomes real for a student.
In her spare time Elsie enjoys birdwatching, reading, and playing with her two cats.

I’m Rekha, an educator with a passion for teaching. Armed with a Masters in Science (Chemistry) and a Bachelor’s in education, I’m currently pursuing further studies at the University of Winnipeg. Hello! My name is Jedri. Throughout my post-secondary education, I’ve gained over six years of experience teaching math and science at all levels. I hold a Master’s degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Waterloo and have extensive experience working in both research and academic environments. I’m passionate about making complex ideas accessible to all students, regardless of their unique situations. I believe everyone has the capacity to learn—it’s just a matter of finding the best way to explain it! In my free time, I continue to explore my love for astronomy by stargazing. Brian is a UBC Engineering student who has a great understanding of the BC curriculum. He took an International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12.
He ran clubs that required him to teach Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Brian is confident in his Mathematics. He won the Pascal and Cayley Math Contests awards medals and several papers of distinction. However, it is important to note that Brian’s target audience is not limited to high school students. Brian peer tutored in middle school. He has experience teaching mathematics to grades 6 to 8 as well. Brian can teach Chemistry as well and achieved the highest score for the Chemistry Avogadro Exam in his school. He can cover a wide range of topics in greater depth, including Stoichiometry, Molecular Structure & Bonding, Periodicity, Acids and Bases, Electrochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Equilibrium, Chemical Kinetics, Thermodynamics, and more. Brian’s target audience for Chemistry is students in grades 9 to 12.
Brian is capable of teaching Physics. He won fourth place in Quizzics, held during the Physics Olympics on March 9th, 2024. The list of topics he can teach includes Kinematics, Dynamics, Energy, Momentum, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics, Simple Harmonic Motion, Wave Phenomena, and more. Brian’s target audience for Physics is students in grades 9 to 12.
