Felix is an honours physics and computer science student in his senior year at McGill University. His current research involves exploring the ways YouTube and Facebook encourage siloing of thought, particularly in politics and health. Before McGill, Felix worked part-time as a museum guide at the National Museum of Math in New York City. He is passionate about mathematics and physics — especially the mathematics and physics of chaos – and has four years of experience helping students as a tutor. In his free time you can find him teaching himself guitar, practicing Muay Thai, or eating grilled cheese.
Olivia has been a dedicated tutor and active member of her academic communities for over 5 years, with a particular dedication for helping others with math and science. She has experience working with high school and college students, having worked privately and on a volunteer basis for her school’s mathematics, physics, chemistry and English departments. Having graduated top of her class from John Abbott’s Double DEC (Science and Social Science) program with multiple scholarship and award opportunities, she is a well-rounded student with experience tackling many different subjects. Patrick is a recent graduate of the Life Sciences program at Queen’s University. He has been tutoring for 10 years, with extensive experience in CEGEP and university chemistry, math and physics. He loves to coach his students as he recognizes the importance of preparation and focus in all aspects of life.
Vlad has an Electrical Engineering degree from McGill as well as a specialization in Telecommunications, and is now studying Business Technology Management at Concordia.
