MOZIT T.
I am Mozit, a fourth-year student at the Education faculty, majoring in English and minoring in Psychology. In 2019, I moved to Canada in order to pursue my goals and dreams. I was born and raised in my homeland (Eritrea). Additionally, I am fluent in three languages: Tigrinya (mother tongue), English, and Arabic. When I was 16, I began tutoring my cousin, which led me to tutor my classmates and others. As a junior and high school student, I had difficulty understanding concepts, so I decided to teach it to someone to see how well I understood. As time passed, I realized tutoring was not only a hobby to do in my leisure time but became more of a passion. Helping kids succeed is something I love to do! Seeing my students succeed in their academics and feel confident about themselves is one of my favourite moments. One of my favourite quotes is “What you imagine, you create ”.
