EN: Félix earned a cégep diploma (DEC) in Pure and Applied Sciences at Dawson College. He then earned a Bachelor (BA) in Environmental and Political Science at Université de Montreal. Now he studies to become a teacher in the Masters of high school teaching with concentration Culture et citoyenneté québécoise at UQÀM. His speciality subjects include Math and Physics covering Calculus 1, 2 and Linear Algebra. Felix has over 6 years of tutoring experience and has obtained multiple academic awards in his area of speciality. Furthermore, in 2021 Felix completed a pedagogical tutoring course to master his tutoring technique. He also has experience tutoring students in Elementary-Cégep level French. Felix is deeply interested in the environmental and social transition and he is involved in several associations. He loves to exercise as he regularly runs and cross country skis during winter.

Il a également de l’expérience de tutorat avec des étudiants de niveau primaire à cégep en français. Félix s’intéresse beaucoup à la transition environnementale et sociale et il est impliqué dans plusieurs organismes. Il aime faire de l’exercice; il court régulièrement et fait du ski de fond en hiver.

Hi! I’m Hongyu and I am currently studying for my Master of Education at OISE, University of Toronto. I’m also a certified teacher (OCT). I completed my Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education in Kamloops, BC, where I got my BC teaching certification before moving to Toronto.
I specialize in teaching math and physics for grades 9-12, and I’ve also taught Chemistry 11. Whether it’s Pre-Calculus, Advanced Functions, or Calculus, I love helping students tackle challenging concepts and build confidence.
I’m originally from China, so Mandarin is my first language, but I’m fluent in English too—so no worries about communication! Outside of teaching, I’m into photography, traveling, working out, and I’ve recently started learning video editing.

Mandy is an experienced Math teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, Honours degree. She is very passionate about Math and instilling a love of math in her students. Mandy has taught every level of high school math and is extremely familiar with the Ontario Math curriculum as she is involved in editing & publishing math textbooks for a well know publishing company. Mandy has helped students prepare for math competitions from G7 and above and she offers prep sessions for SAT Math – her students have achieved excellent results. In her spare time, she loves reading mystery novels and hiking outdoors.
Derek K.
Derek is a Teacher Candidate at Ontario Tech University, specializing in Physics and Math for the Intermediate/Senior division (Grades 7–12). He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, where he majored in Physics with minors in Math and Astrophysics.
With nearly five years of tutoring experience across all age groups, both online and in person, Derek is passionate about creating a comfortable and relaxed learning environment. He promotes a collaborative approach to academics, helping students build confidence while making learning enjoyable and stress-free.

Sean is a recent graduate of Western University’s Teacher Education program and holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from McMaster University. He also has professional experience in both Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering, bringing real-world knowledge into his teaching practice.
With his strong background in engineering, Sean is able to break down complex concepts and communicate the different layers within Math and Science problems. His approach emphasizes understanding over memorization, equipping students with strategies to deepen their learning and apply concepts with confidence.

Sanya is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with nearly 20 years of experience teaching Secondary School Mathematics with the Toronto District School Board. Her passion for empowering others to reach their full potential inspired her to become an educator and, specifically, a mathematics teacher. She understands that many students carry limiting beliefs and negative experiences around math, and she has made it her mission to help learners overcome those barriers, build confidence, and even excel in the subject.
Sanya believes that every student has an Inner Genius within them. By helping students connect with their strengths, she empowers them to approach math with confidence and curiosity. Aisha is a second-year industrial engineering student at the University of Toronto. She is also doing a minor in business. For the past 3 years, she has tutored high school students in various subjects; primarily math and science. She has also been tutoring two autistic students for the past 2 years. She has completed the SAT with 1510/1600, and she also completed the IB curriculum successfully (42/45).
Aisha has a very positive and motivating approach when it comes to tutoring. She understands that some topics may be easier and some might be hard. Therefore, she uses an analytical approach to understand where the student struggles and uses positive language and demeanor to fully support the student. She also communicates with the student’s parents regularly and provides feedback. To her, tutoring is a triangle between the tutor, the student, and the parents.
In her free time, she enjoys horse riding and hanging out with her friends. She also loves playing tennis and working out.

Hello Everyone! My name is Amandeep. I believe in the process of continuous learning and have lived with this as my motto; always trying to improve myself. I have a passion for teaching and take great pride in making my lectures informative and dynamic for my students. I am from India, received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Masters in Mathematics, Masters in Education and Ph.D (Education) from Panjab University, India. I have also updated my qualifications from Queen University. I am certified to teach Intermediate level and Senior Mathemetics in Ontario. I have more than 5 year’s experiences to teach Math and Science courses.
One of my main objectives is to help students not only learn the subject material, but also to think critically. I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.

ANDREW L.
Andrew is an immigrant from China who has immersed himself in Canadian society and culture. In Canada, Andrew lived in Ottawa where he pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a minor in Mathematics. He has been working as a tutor for about 2 years now. He has tutored for over 200 hours ranging from primary to undergraduate level, main subjects including Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Through his tutoring experiences, he has developed a deep passion for working with young children and decided to pursue teaching as a career. Now, he is pursuing a Master of Teaching in the Intermediate/Senior levels degree from OISE (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education) at the University of Toronto.
Through his tutoring experience, Andrew found out that students’ interest and curiosity along with positive reinforcement from the educator are required for them to succeed.
