Jordon is in her final semester of teachers’ college at Lakehead University in Orillia, specializing in Geography and Environmental Science. She is qualified to teach all subjects up to the Grade 10 level and has experience supporting students across a variety of classroom settings and subject areas.

Will has taught a wide range of subjects including science, leadership, and human development, and is known for making complex concepts approachable and engaging. Families value his ability to quickly build trust, inspire confidence, and help students achieve their goals. Beyond the classroom, Will is an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and backpacker, passions that reflect the energy and creativity he brings to his teaching. He has a wife of twenty years named Kate and two daughters in elementary and middle school.
Nick B.

Jacob is currently working on earning his PhD from the University of Rochester. Having graduated from BSU in 2018, he celebrated by cultivating his love of nature on a cross-country camping trip across the lower forty-eight and Alaska. The last seven years, he’s spent pursuing his other passion, teaching. Allison A., known as “Dr. Ali” by her students, earned a PhD in Microbiology & Immunology from UTHSCSA, an MBA from UTSA, and a BA in Microbiology from the University of Kansas. When not studying, Dr. Ali was a Teaching Assistant for medical and dental students. After overachieving in school, Dr. Ali became a military contractor (Scientist) and spent many years researching things she can’t tell you about. When the pandemic hit, Dr. Ali began homeschooling her own children. Inspired by this experience, she launched a STEM enrichment business that offers hands-on classes for San Antonio homeschoolers. Dr. Ali is committed to building a meaningful connection with each of her students to make learning more enjoyable and engaging. Learning comes in many forms, including playing games and building projects. It doesn’t have to be a chore or a bore. Dr. Ali is the kind of person who took Calculus 3 in college for funsies. Hi, I’m Muskaan, a graduate student in Bioengineering at Rice University with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Cynthia holds bachelor’s degrees in Physics, Honors Mathematics, and Geology from the University of South Florida, graduating cum laude. She completed a Master’s in Astronomy at the University of Florida and pursued advanced doctoral research (ABD) in Astronomy, specializing in low-mass star formation. Her career as an educator began early when she was appointed the youngest teaching assistant in her department while still an undergraduate, later securing a full-time faculty position at the University of the Virgin Islands before completing her PhD.
With over 20 years of teaching experience at institutions like the University of Florida, the University of South Florida, Miami Country Day School, and the Community School of Naples, Cynthia has taught a diverse range of students, including those with learning differences, in subjects such as physics, math, astronomy, and Spanish. She is committed to making complex material approachable and employs a structured approach to problem-solving. Cynthia guides students through a 5-step process that helps them tackle any problem with confidence, from understanding the concept to evaluating the solution. This method not only enhances problem-solving skills but also empowers students to become independent, lifelong learners.
