Matthew R. is a tutor and high school substitute teacher. He has lived in San Antonio since 2016 and completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the University of the Incarnate Word with a minor in Spanish Proficiency. He discovered his love of teaching after acquiring a chemistry tutoring position during his undergraduate years and was able to help many students, mainly nursing students, refine their science skills and understand the challenging concepts they will need to succeed in their fields. He has also done work for family and friends in fields including literature and mathematics. He has a wide range of interests including science, history, linguistics, and music, and is constantly learning and studying new things. His hobbies include reading, gaming, swimming, and bass guitar. He has lived abroad in Italy and Germany, speaks English, German, and Spanish, and has studied French and Japanese on his own time.
