Caitlin C.

Caitlin is a certified teacher. She graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in English and a minor in both history and French. Caitlin completed her teaching placements in the Niagara Region, where she taught grade 10 English, grade 11 media studies, and grade 12 English. Caitlin has also done an internship with the Learning Disabilities Association of Niagara Region. During her internship, she personalized bi-weekly lesson plans for a grade three student that would best support the student’s learning by incorporating the student’s interests and needs. In her free time, Caitlin likes to read, collect and organize Pokémon cards, and play cozy video games.

Caitlin believes that student-led learning leads to confident, capable, and inspired students. She also believes that students learn best when they are able to make choices and play an active role in their education. Caitlin is passionate about teaching her students and helping them succeed; she enjoys showing students that learning can be fun.

James H.

James H. studied history as an undergraduate and graduate student, earning BA (Harvard College), MA, and MPhil degrees (Columbia University GSAS), with a focus on Medieval and Modern European History. Since then he has taught both World History and U.S. History, primarily in private secondary schools. He has also taught English as a Second Language, working with adult and younger students from a variety of different nationalities and backgrounds. Mr. Hamilton continues to be an avid reader of history, admiring and enjoying the works of Herodotus, Thucydides, Jacob Burckhardt, Simon Schama, Jill Lepore, and many other brilliant historians.

Nasiha is an experienced and dedicated Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) specializing in Intermediate General Science, Senior Division English, and Special Education. With over a decade of teaching experience across international and Canadian school boards, including the TVDSB and SCDSB, Nasiha is committed to securing long-term academic success for her students. Her professional background includes roles as a Secondary School ESL/Workplace English Teacher, an Intermediate School Teacher, and an Educational Assistant, giving her a deep, systemic understanding of diverse student needs and curricula from elementary through secondary levels.

Frank C.

Frank is an experienced university and college instructor. He is from London, ON and graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. in Philosophy. He then went on to complete an M.A. in Philosophy at the University of Alberta before moving on to the nation’s capital where he earned a Ph.D in Philosophy. Throughout his academic career spanning two decades, Frank has taught at several post-secondary institutions including Bishop’s University, Dalhousie University, the University of Guelph, University of Michigan, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo, Huron University College, Brescia University College, Fanshawe College, and Conestoga College.
His easy-going nature and commitment to his students’ academic success explains the instant rapport that he has with students.
Frank’s teaching experience focuses on the Humanities (Philosophy, Great Books, Literature) and Social Sciences (Sociology, Canadian Politics).
In his spare time, Frank likes traveling (especially to Europe), listening to classic rock, reading, writing, spending time with his two adorable Boston terriers (Argos and Odie), and cheering on his hometown, London Knights.

Hi, I’m Muskaan, a graduate student in Bioengineering at Rice University with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics. With over five years of tutoring experience, I’ve had the opportunity to guide high school, undergraduate, and graduate students through subjects such as organic chemistry, biology, genetics, calculus, biostatistics etc. My teaching philosophy centers on turning complex topics into clear, engaging lessons that connect theory to real-world applications. Before completing his psychology degree, he studied engineering, which sharpened his analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Now entering his second year of the Bachelor of Education program at St. Mary’s University, Jacob continues to refine his pedagogical practice as he works toward teacher certification. His background is grounded in real-world educational experience, including hands-on student teaching practicum placements, classroom supervision and substitute teaching, and several years of targeted one-on-one tutoring.

Jacob is passionate about helping learners master challenging academic concepts while fostering lasting confidence and curiosity. Known for a supportive, patient, and adaptable teaching style, he excels at breaking down complex math and science topics into clear, intuitive steps while guiding students to develop independent study habits and strong problem-solving skills.

Monica is a recent graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, where she earned an Honours BA in English and History with high distinction and a consistent place on the Dean’s Honour Roll. With two years of experience in museum education, Monica successfully developed engaging, inclusive, hands-on learning experiences that cater to diverse audiences. Monica is now continuing her education journey through Western University’s Teacher Education program, specializing in the Intermediate/Senior division. Monica has experience tutoring writing, reading, editing, and developing study skills in students from elementary to university levels.
