Eduardo R.

Eduardo graduated from Columbia University as a premedical student with a major in Biology and a minor in Classics (Latin). Eduardo has taught as an elementary school teacher for the past 5 years in NYC charter schools, equipped with a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.). He specializes in tutoring math classes—from elementary level math to Algebra to AP Calculus—and science classes such as biology, chemistry, and physics. He has also worked with students on standardized test preparation such as the DSAT, ACT, SHSAT, ISEE, and AP Exams. Eduardo has written detailed answers and explanations for over 50 DSAT and ACT tests. He has extensive experience tutoring and teaching, whether it is done one-on-one in person, online remotely, or with small classrooms of students.
During his free time, Eduardo loves to run, bike, and play tennis. He has worked as a tennis coach for elementary and high school students. DANIEL R.

Daniel Riseman, Ed.D., is a New York State certified teacher (Grades 7-12) in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Social Studies. He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan. He has an M.Ed., an Ed.M. in Mathematics, and an Advanced Certificate in Special Education. He received his Ed.D. in Neuroeducation from Johns Hopkins University. Daniel is presently pursuing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.

For the past 25 years, Daniel has provided in-home, subject-based tutoring. He also customizes lessons to prepare students for the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, TACHS, GRE, and GMAT. Daniel helps families with every aspect of private secondary school admissions.

As a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, Daniel assists students with every step of the college admissions process. He has helped students get admitted into MIT, Harvard, Princeton, University of Chicago, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins, Columbia, Duke, Brown, Cornell, Washington University in St. Louis, Amherst, Wesleyan, Haverford, Swarthmore, Pomona, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, University of Virginia, Berkeley, Rice, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Tufts, Emory, Carnegie Mellon, Wake Forest, Michigan, UCLA, University of North Carolina, among others.
