RINOKO M.
Rinoko is an Elementary School Teacher with a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in Language and Literacies. Passionate about teaching and language, she has worked with elementary students across subjects such as Language Arts, Math, and Social Studies. STEPHANIE Q.
Stephanie is a Teacher Candidate at the University of Toronto. Originally from China, she moved to Canada to complete her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Toronto. After graduation, she worked as a nutrition consultant. Following the birth of her daughter, Stephanie spent a lot of time at the Early Years Center and volunteered at schools. She has been tutoring math for primary, junior and intermediate grade students, enjoying the opportunity to help each student discover their own strengths and talents. During the pandemic, while homeschooling her daughter in sixth grade, Stephanie decided to pursue a career in teaching. Most recently, she completed her teaching practicum at JICS Lab School and Bedford Park Public School. Stephanie believes in a student-centered approach to teaching, where each child’s unique abilities and interests are nurtured. In her spare time, Stephanie really enjoys cooking, listening to classical music and taking nature walks.

Rebecca H. is currently completing the Ontario Certified Teacher Program in the Master of Teaching Program (Primary/Junior Division) at OISE, University of Toronto. She also holds a Master of Education in Administration and Leadership from Brock University.
With over five years of experience teaching and working in Ontario’s public and private elementary and high schools, such as TDSB, YCDSB and TCDSB, Rebecca is committed to creating inclusive classrooms where every student feels valued and supported. Grace graduated from South China University of Technology, one of the most renowned universities in China, with a Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering . Since her graduation, Grace has been a passionate tutor for over 20 years. She is very familiar with the Ontario curriculum and is keen on sharing her knowledge and learning methods with young generations. In working one-on-one with students in Ontario over the past 15 years, Grace has taught in both the AP and IB streams. Grace develops rapport with students at their pace, clearly explains the concepts and formulas, and nurtures students for critical thinking and analytical skills. Arvin has extensive experience in tutoring students from grades 2 to 9, excelling in subjects such as Math, Literacy, and Computing. As a seasoned educator, she skillfully integrates her expertise in Screen Cultures and Curatorial Studies, Art, and Computing into her teaching, providing students with a holistic and creative approach to learning.

CINDY Y.
Cindy is originally from Taiwan and speaks fluent English and intermediate Spanish as well.
Cindy possesses certificates of teaching Mandarin Chinese as a Foreign/Second language. She has over 6 years of experience in teaching Mandarin Chinese, along with the experiences in teaching English in the rural areas of Taiwan, Peru, Spain and Thailand. Her students’ ages are from 6 years old all the way to 60 years old with different backgrounds.
During her working period in Mexico, she helped her students prepare and pass the annual YCT language level tests. Furthermore, for her online students, she designed comprehensive lesson plans to help them with the school level tests as well as the official language test such as HSK.
For beginners, Cindy will start with the materials including several daily topics and interactive games designed by herself.
Cindy is very outgoing, communicative and organized. She likes to travel, cook, hike and definitely enjoys learning about new cultures!
KATHY S.
Kathy has a Master’s degree in International Affairs and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Chemistry. She has been an adjunct French professor at Manhattanville College and has taught French, Mandarin and cooking at the Bronxville Adult School and the Bronxville After School Club. She attended MIT & Harvard her freshman year and enjoys helping students master French, math and test prep.
