EN: Shabibah is a student studying Sciences at the University of Toronto. She graduated from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Health Science. Alexander O.
ENG: Born and raised in Montreal, Alexander has firsthand experience with the Quebec curriculum. Fluent in English and French, he is most in his element tutoring high school and CEGEP students in math, physics, and music theory. Since 2018, Alexander has accrued teaching experience through peer tutoring, leading workshops in elementary and high schools, and providing online tutoring with elementary to college-aged students. Studying both classical music and pure and applied sciences at Vanier College (graduating on the dean’s honour list), he has mentored students in both disciplines. Alexander continued his studies at McGill University, where he was awarded many scholarships for academic excellence. While obtaining a bachelor’s degree in music performance, he also completed several courses in physics and minored in the German language. Though he spent much of his life pursuing music, Alexander’s first love was in math and sciences, and being related to several teachers he has always wanted to be an educator. In the fall of 2025 he returned to sciences at Concordia University, planning to complete degrees in physics and education and to teach science at the high school or CEGEP level.

Depuis 2018, il a accumulé de l’expérience en tutorat en aidant ses camarades de classe, en s’engageant dans des ateliers avec des élèves d’école primaire et secondaire et en travaillant en ligne avec des étudiants du primaire jusqu’au CEGEP. Ayant été formé au Collège Vanier en musique et sciences naturelles, il a donc aidé des étudiants dans les deux disciplines. Alexander a poursuivi ses études à l’Université McGill, où il a accumulé plusieurs bourses pour son excellence académique. Pendant qu’il obtenait son baccalauréat en interprétation musicale, il a complété plusieurs cours de physique et a pris l’allemand comme matière seconde.Malgré qu’il se soit concentré pendant plusieurs années sur la musique, ses premières passions restent les mathématiques et les sciences. Ayant plusieurs proches qui enseignent, il a toujours voulu devenir professeur. En automne 2025, Alexander est retourné aux étudesen sciences à l’Université Concordia, visant à étudier la physique et l’éducation pour devenir enseignant au niveau secondaire ou collégial.
Clément B.
Clément poursuit actuellement une maîtrise en Génie de la production automatisée à l’École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) de Montréal. Il est diplômé de l’École des Mines d’Alès, en France, où il s’est spécialisé en Performance Industrielle et Systèmes Mécatroniques. Titulaire d’un baccalauréat scientifique (spécialité mathématiques et physique-chimie), il a également suivi deux années de classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles (filière PCSI/PC), où il a développé une solide rigueur scientifique et une méthode de travail efficace.
Fort de plus de trois ans d’expérience dans l’enseignement, Clément a accompagné de nombreux élèves de niveaux variés, les aidant à surmonter leurs difficultés, à reprendre confiance et à progresser durablement. Sa pédagogie repose sur la clarté, la structure et l’adaptation à chaque profil.
Ses cours suivent une structure claire et flexible :

Dr. Rob R.
Dr. Rob R. brings 44 years of experience in education to his work with students and families at Prep Academy Tutors.
Having grown up in Yugoslavia, Austria, Lebanon, Turkey, and Germany, Rob learned early on how to adapt to new cultures, languages, and expectations. This experience shaped his ability to support students who may be facing transitions, language challenges, or unfamiliar learning environments.
Rob holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from Lehigh University, a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Vermont, and a B.A. from Middlebury College. For 20 years, he taught all subjects in grades 1 – 6 in Vermont public schools, also serving as a teaching-principal.
He then spent 23 years in international education, teaching and leading schools in Spain, Pakistan, Jordan, Switzerland, Japan, and Serbia. Working with students from more than 50 nationalities gave him a deep appreciation for how children learn across cultures and backgrounds. He understands that every student brings curiosity, potential, and a need for encouragement – and he excels at creating supportive, individualized learning experiences.
Since moving to Superior, Colorado, Rob taught as a substitute in the Boulder Valley School District and is excited to continue working 1:1 with students. Families who work with Rob benefit from his global perspective, decades of teaching expertise, and a compassionate approach that helps students build confidence, adapt to challenges, and discover joy in learning.
Madison R.
Madison is a 3rd year Ph.D. student studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research is on fixed-wing drones that provide aerial information gathering. Throughout undergrad and graduate school, Madison has been a Teaching Assistant in the aerospace department for various aerodynamics and aircraft dynamics classes.
She has spent the last 5 years tutoring middle and high school math and science, as well as SAT/ACT prep. During her time as an undergraduate student, she has worked for Disability Services at CU Boulder, where she was a peer mentor for students in applied math. Needless to say, she has an immense passion for education and mentorship!
Outside of school, Madison can be found with her two horses, Penelope and Daisy, who she trains and competes in three-day eventing and show jumping — or coaching young equestrians!
Sophia C.
Sophia is an alumna of The Study School and Marianopolis College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce at Concordia University, majoring in Finance with a minor in Marketing. With over three years of experience tutoring students at the elementary, high school, and CEGEP levels, Sophia is dedicated to helping students achieve their academic objectives. She is highly adaptable, tailoring her teaching methods to suit the individual learning needs of each student, and is always ready to embrace challenges to ensure her students succeed. Sophia finds great joy in watching her students reach their “aha” moments and is passionate about empowering them by instilling strong organizational and time management skills to help them reach their full potential!
