SYDNEY V.
Sydney is completing her final year of the Master of Teaching program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and holds a Transitional Certificate with the Ontario College of Teachers. She is in the Primary/Junior stream and is qualified to teach Kindergarten through Grade 6. Sydney is confident in all subject areas but is particularly passionate about mathematics and literacy. Sydney has a flexible approach to tutoring, as she recognizes that every student has different interests and needs. Their teaching is grounded in their core values of community, play, and compassion. They recognize that connection is integral to student’s success, and they strive to develop positive relationships with students and their families. Outside of teaching, Sydney loves to swim, bake, and knit. In the summers, they work with students of all ages at a camp in Parry Sound.
Sagar M.
Sagar M. is a dedicated math, statistics, and coding tutor with over nine years of professional experience helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. He holds a master’s degree and works as a Data Science Manager, applying advanced mathematics, statistics, and analytical thinking to real-world problems every day. Sagar supports students from elementary school through advanced levels in a wide range of subjects, including arithmetic, geometry, algebra, calculus, statistics, and probability. He also prepares students for standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, AP math courses, and other assessments, helping them strengthen both content mastery and test-taking strategies. In addition, Sagar teaches coding to kids and professionals, using structured yet engaging lessons to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills. He believes students learn best through clear examples, real-life applications, and puzzles that make even challenging topics approachable (and occasionally fun). Known for his patient, personalized approach, Sagar is passionate about helping each student reach their full potential while building skills that last well beyond the test.
Kinalben M.
I am a Science and Mathematics Tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Information Systems from Trent University. I work with elementary, middle school, and high school students across the Ontario curriculum, supporting Mathematics (Grades 1–10), Science (Grades 9-10), Chemistry (Grades 11–12), and Physics (Grades 11–12).
I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and develop strong problem-solving abilities. My teaching approach is clear, structured, and step-by-step, allowing students to fully understand concepts rather than rely on memorization. I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style, pace, and academic goals, and I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
In addition to tutoring, I have professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician at SGS Canada and currently work as a Field Research Assistant at Corteva Agriscience. These roles have strengthened my attention to detail and ability to explain complex ideas clearly. I am committed to helping students feel confident, motivated, and successful in their learning.
ELDA H.
Elda H. is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a strong academic background and international teaching experience in both private and public schools and is highly familiar with the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum across intermediate and secondary grades. She holds a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Tirana and has taught middle and high school mathematics across multiple grade levels.
Elda has extensive experience teaching Grades 8–12 mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, introductory calculus, and exam preparation. She is known for creating structured, engaging lessons that break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. Her teaching approach emphasizes problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world applications to help students build both understanding and confidence.
Thomas L.
Thomas received his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Boise State University, where he was a member of the Honors College and graduated with a 3.99 cumulative GPA. He also studied Korean for several years, including a summer spent at a language immersion school where he gave up English for two whole months! He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics at BSU, where his interests lie in mathematical logic and set theory.
JOSHUA L.
Joshua is a dedicated tutor who helps students build confidence and clarity in their learning. He specializes in math, science, and English, and has worked with students across multiple grade levels to strengthen core skills, improve academic performance, and develop effective study habits. Known for his patient and encouraging approach, Joshua adapts each lesson to the student’s individual learning style, making challenging topics easier to understand. RAMSHA T.
Ramsha T. is a Primary/Junior teacher candidate completing a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Health Sciences and Psychology from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Ramsha has classroom and tutoring experience supporting students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 across diverse educational settings, including placements in Kindergarten, Grade 2, Grade 4, and Grade 6 classrooms within the Toronto District School Board. Her experience includes working with English Language Learners and students with ASD, GDD, and other developmental needs. She is skilled in delivering inclusive, student-centred instruction that supports academic growth, confidence, and engagement.
In addition to her teaching experience, Ramsha has held leadership roles in community education and wellness initiatives, focusing on mental health, equity, and culturally responsive programming. She is passionate about creating safe, welcoming learning environments and supporting students’ academic and social-emotional development. Ramsha plans to begin supplying with the TDSB upon approval of her Transitional Certificate and looks forward to continuing her work in Ontario classrooms.
Simran K.
Simran is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a strong academic background and experience teaching across the elementary panel. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies from the University of Windsor, which has strengthened her expertise in curriculum planning, assessment, and responsive instructional practices.
Currently, Simran works as an Occasional Teacher with the Waterloo Region District School Board, primarily teaching at the junior and intermediate levels while remaining closely connected to primary grades. This role has allowed her to develop adaptability, classroom management skills, and a clear understanding of Ontario curriculum expectations across subject areas and grade levels.
As an educator and tutor, Simran is committed to inclusive, student-centred learning that supports both academic achievement and confidence building. Her teaching approach emphasizes clarity, structure, and differentiated instruction to meet individual learning needs. She values creating learning environments that are respectful, supportive, and engaging, where students feel encouraged to ask questions and take ownership of their learning.

Andrew D.
Andrew D. has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Princeton University — where studied with some of the top Math professors in the world. While at Princeton, Andrew worked as an assistant instructor for a summer course for incoming freshmen, and he was a math tutor for all four years.
Andrew is a certified substitute teacher in Colorado, and will begin his Ph.D. program in Mathematics in Fall 2026 at Princeton. His goal is to become a full-time math professor at a major university.
In addition to his skills in math, Andrew also speaks fluent Spanish.
When he’s not focused on math, Andrew enjoys writing, going to the movies, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with the same group he’s been playing with for the past five years.
Beverlyn J.
Beverlyne J. is a mathematics and chemistry educator from Kenya.
As a child, Beverlyne had a strong interest in problem-solving and science, which led her to study higher math and chemistry and pursue a career in teaching and research.
She received her B.Ed. in Mathematics and Chemistry and her MS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Nairobi, in Kenya. She did her postgraduate studies at Uppsala University in Sweden.
She has taught math and chemistry at several different levels: lecturing at the University of Nairobi, serving as the head of the Mathematics Department at the Jaffery Academy (Nairobi), and working as a lecturer/tutor for private clients.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys playing badminton, conducting research in mathematical modeling, and mentoring young scholars in STEM.
Her goal is to make mathematics meaningful and accessible, and help students build the confidence and critical-thinking skills that apply outside the classroom.
