ZACHARY S.
Zach is a teacher candidate completing his Masters of Teaching program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto, specializing in the K-6 primary/junior stream. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Carleton University. He has recent classroom experience, developing unit plans in math, English, science and language arts. Zach is a passionate and driven educator who believes that a positive, patient and creative atmosphere, mixed with a belief that growth comes from challenging oneself, is the best possible environment for student learning.
Zach is looking forward to working with students to help them reach their academic goals. He understands that all students learn and connect with their learning differently, and he takes pride in working with both students and parents to find out the best way to create that optimal learning environment.
Outside of teaching Zach is an avid fan of sports, cooking and theatre. He has experience working in sports media and has performed around the city of Toronto.
JOSEF S.
Josef Stetter is an Ontario educator and Assistant Curriculum Leader for Business and Co-op at Georges Vanier Secondary School, known for inclusive, real-world teaching that meets learners where they are. He holds a B.Ed. from Lakehead University and a B.A. in Economics from York University, along with wide-ranging Additional Qualifications that equip him to teach most subjects across Grades 1 through 12, including Math, Science, all Business strands, Social Sciences (world religions, philosophy, psychology), Humanities, Geography, History, English and ESL, Life and Learning Skills, Public Speaking and Debate, and French. He has taught and tutored broadly across these areas and continues to coach learners of all ages. In his current role, Josef expanded Business SHSM participation and led a large DECA cohort to regional and provincial success and had one student win the world Championship in her category beating out 25,000 students, while supervising diverse co-op placements that help students connect class to careers. Josef has lived in five countries and speaks English, French, Hebrew, and Spanish, and he makes learning lively by linking lessons to student interests such as video games, sports, photography, and travel.
Alexander C.
EN: Alexander is a graduate of Phillips Academy, an elite boarding school in Massachusetts, and currently studies at McGill University. He specializes in admissions consulting for boarding schools and colleges and standardized testing such as the SAT, ACT, and SSAT. After successfully guiding applicants to gain acceptance at prestigious institutions such as Yale, Tulane, and UNC, he began developing proprietary testing materials, as well as specialized courses in essay writing, interview preparation, and extracurricular activities. Alexander has published research in STEM and History.

Dr. Laxshaa Nadpurajah is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in education, data analysis, digital content management, fitness, and nutrition. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration; a Master of Education, specializing in Assessment & Evaluation; and a Master of Management Analytics, both from Queen’s University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology and Criminal Justice & Public Policy from the University of Guelph.
STEPHEN C.
Stephen Carter has a BA, MA and PhD (ABD) in English literature. He was a University Teaching Assistant for five years at two Canadian universities, and he has taught and tutored elementary, high school, and college/university students for over ten years. As a teacher, Stephen helps students cultivate a love for learning, achieve academic success, and develop advanced skills in reading, writing, analysis, critical thinking and speaking.
