RALPH S.
In 2023 Ralph S. completed their Masters of Teaching from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at University of Toronto, qualifying them as an Ontario Certified Teacher with a specialization in Sciences and Advanced Qualifications in Mathematics, both at the Junior/Intermediate level. Coupled with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering completed in 2020 at Toronto Metropolitan University, Ralph’s education has been built for success in STEAM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths). They have taught grades 4-8 students in the TDSB at Cosburn Middle School, Samuel Herne Public School, and Eastview Public School, and has been tutoring JK-12 students part-time for 4 years. Expressing complex ideas through poetry and fine arts are a hobby of Ralph’s, and learning with them will be the crossroads where STEAM, language, the arts, and social sciences intersect.
Rita S.
Rita holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto with a double major in Criminology and Sociology, and a minor in Philosophy. She also obtained an ECE diploma from Seneca College. Rita is currently in her second year in the Masters of Child Study and Education program at OISE, leading to an OCT. Rita has experience working in a Montessori school and several other classroom settings in both the public and catholic school boards. Rita is especially passionate about helping students develop and strengthen their literacy skills. In her free time, Rita enjoys going on nature walks, trying new restaurants, and painting.
Anya B.
Anya is a French, ESL, and Social Sciences teacher with ten years of experience, working with children from K to 12. She has also worked as a French instructor for adults. Anya is currently completing a Master’s degree in European and Russian Affairs at the University of Toronto and is passionate about history, literature, and languages. She is a native Russian speaker, fluent in French and Spanish, and has also studied German and Yiddish. Anya is excited to be joining Prep Academy Tutors and sharing her passion for learning with new students.
Isabel C.
EN: Isabel is a literary translator and graduate student in Littérature comparée (Comparative Literature) at l’Université de Montréal. She has an undergraduate degree in Contemporary Philosophy and German Studies, with a minor in French Literature from the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University.
She has worked as a teacher in both high school and elementary schools in English and French classes. As a tutor, Isabel prioritizes helping her students to nurture their creativity, curiosity, sense of determination and organizational skills.
Isabel is passionate about literature, film, history and art. In her spare time, she is learning metal-working.

He specializes in helping students set goals and develop strategies to improve their writing and studying skills. With more than 15 years working in education and the private sector, Howard has been able to support students as they develop their academic and professional skills.
After completing a diploma in Liberal Arts at Seneca College, Howard went on to study Anthropology and History at York University, where he also received a Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Senior/Highschool Teaching). He then completed a Master of Arts at Guelph University, specializing in Public Issues Anthropology and Applied Sociology. He has also completed certificates and training in research ethics, teaching with technology, tutor training, as well as extensive training and experience working with students with unique learning needs. Originally from India, Aayu came to Toronto for an undergraduate degree in physics, mathematics, and philosophy at the University of Toronto, where she has been a consistent Dean’s List Scholar.
