Jessica Eaton has been a math educator for the last 16 years. She is a certified math teacher with a Masters in Education from University of California San Diego who taught middle and high school math for 10 years, then left the classroom in 2021 to start private tutoring to get the chance to work with students one on one. She is very passionate about math education, and loves getting the opportunity to help students see that math can be easy and fun, not scary and difficult like many people assume it is. She has a laid back, easygoing approach to math that focuses on helping students see their own math capabilities and improving their confidence in their math skills. She focuses on creating a comfortable environment for students to ask their questions and work through their challenges, and on helping students understand the “why” behind what they’re learning and doing to encourage deeper understanding and retention. She loves connecting with her students and watching their confidence and skills grow, and she looks forward to helping your student enjoy math.

Alexis M.

Alexis is a passionate and dedicated tutor pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering at Louisiana State University. With two years of tutoring experience, she has developed a genuine passion for helping students understand challenging material and become more confident in their academic abilities. Studying engineering has strengthened her problem-solving and critical thinking skills while teaching her the importance of patience, persistence, and looking at problems from different perspectives—skills she brings into every tutoring session.

Alexis enjoys breaking down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps and finding different ways to explain material until it clicks for a student. She believes that every student learns differently and that struggling with a subject does not mean they are incapable of succeeding. Her goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and learning along the way.

Outside of school and tutoring, Alexis enjoys traveling, drawing, painting, and spending time with her friends and family. She loves finding creative ways to express herself and believes learning is just as much about curiosity and creativity as it is about getting the right answer. After all, engineering may be about solving problems, but there is always room for a little creativity along the way. Alexis looks forward to using her experience, perspective, and passion for learning to help students discover that learning can be challenging, rewarding, and maybe even a little fun.

Andrea A.

Andrea is a mathematics and technology tutor who brings a combination of academic depth, real-world engineering experience, and youth mentoring to her students. Andrea earned a B.S. in Mathematics/Economics, completed Ph.D.-level work in mathematics at the University of Tennessee, and taught university courses independently while still very young. She later built a career as an Engineering Systems Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, and AI Automation Architect, designing complex software, cloud, and AI-driven systems for major organizations—experience that helps her show students how math, logic, problem-solving, and technology connect to the real world. As Andrea transitions from full-time engineering into education, she has chosen to work with students as a private tutor and substitute teacher in Wake County Schools. Andrea believes students learn best when classroom instruction is supported by personalized guidance, varied approaches, clear explanations, and steady encouragement. She works to discover the right combination of instruction, practice, structure, and motivation that helps each student move toward success. Outside of tutoring and technology, Andrea has coached youth athletics, supported community education, volunteered with youth science programs, and sponsored Team Europe in youth international baseball through her technology company, Blue Ridge Gateways.

Luke is passionate about teaching and helping learners build confidence in their abilities. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity with a Mathematics emphasis, both earned from Boise State University. His strong academic background allows him to break down complex concepts in a way that feels approachable and encouraging for students of all ages.
Outside of academics, Luke is an avid sports fan and has a well‑known appreciation for great desserts. His friendly personality and patient teaching style create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace.

Elie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Hunter College and completed his teaching internship at Camden High School, where he taught students in grades 9 through 11. He later earned a Bachelor of Education focused on junior grade levels from Stockton University in 2023. These experiences prepared him to work with both middle and high school students in diverse learning environments.

Passionate about education, Elie enjoys connecting with students from different backgrounds and helping them grow academically and personally. His experience working with students across Philadelphia and surrounding communities has strengthened his commitment to supporting learners at every stage of their educational journey.

Outside the classroom, Elie tutors students from middle school through high school in mathematics, ranging from foundational skills to advanced courses such as calculus. He believes that building strong relationships with students is essential to helping them gain confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and reach their full potential. As both a teacher and mentor, Elie continuously develops new strategies to support student success and create engaging learning experiences. Helping students grow in confidence and achievement remains one of the most rewarding parts of his work.

Deborah K.

With 26 years of experience teaching middle and high school mathematics, Debbie is passionate about helping students build confidence and become stronger problem solvers. She has taught nearly every secondary math course and currently works as a math coach in Sarasota County, supporting both teachers and students in developing meaningful math understanding.
Debbie earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Education as well as her Master’s degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Education. She specializes in breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps and creating engaging, hands-on lessons that help students make connections and feel more confident in math.
In addition to classroom instruction, Debbie has extensive experience preparing students for the ACT, SAT, CLT, and Florida EOCs for Algebra 1 and Geometry. She believes every student can succeed in math with the right guidance, encouragement, and strategies. Her favorite part of tutoring is helping students reach those “aha” moments that build both understanding and confidence.
Outside of education, Debbie loves exploring hiking trails with her family and curling up with a great book while her dog, Maui, keeps her company.

JB Brooks.

JB enjoys helping students simplify problems into smaller pieces of a puzzle. His goal is to teach students the key to breaking down math problems into simpler steps before tackling the larger problem. He communicates on the level of the student in a way that feels relatable.
JB is a rising sophomore in the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. As mechanical engineering major, JB has a strong math and physics background. JB is also a part of Army ROTC where he utilizes organization, discipline and leadership skills. JB enjoys playing basketball and football, skiing, backpacking, and fishing.

Mansargun K.

Mansargun is an Ivey MBA graduate from Western University and an Aerospace Engineer from IIT Kanpur. She is joining a leading consulting firm as a Senior Consultant in June 2026 and brings 5+ years of tutoring and coaching experience to her students.
Her teaching style focuses on problem-solving tips and shortcuts so students never have to rely on rote memorization. She breaks down core concepts in an intuitive way, helping students truly understand the “why” behind the material. So they never go blank in an exam again. She has supported students across engineering math, calculus, physics, intro computer science (Python, SQL), MBA-level finance, accounting, and economics, as well as standardized tests including the GRE (332/340), TOEFL (119/120), CELPIP (12/12), and GMAT Quant. She also tutors Ontario high school math and physics.
Outside of academics, Mansargun is a theatre artist and a builder at heart. An engineer who loves business. She has directed award-winning plays, co-founded a fashion venture, and helped scale a tech product from 600 to 10 million users. She brings the same curiosity and energy to every tutoring session.
