Hello! My name is Blair. I am currently in my last year of my Bachelor of Education Degree at Brandon University specializing in Early Years and a major in Physical Education and minor in Mathematics. I received an Early Childhood Education Diploma from Assiniboine Community College before attending Brandon University, where I have worked with early years children ever since. I have experience with a variety of ages, from preschool to grade 6.
I have a passion for sports and coaching, growing up playing every sport I was able to. I have been coaching female hockey in the Westman area for the past 5 years.Through my sports nature, I like to make learning fun using games and manipulatives.
My favourite part about teaching is building positive relationships with my students and having fun.

Merissa has been a qualified teacher for over 20 years. Her career began in Trinidad until she migrated with her husband, son and daughter to Canada. She worked as a RECE for 5 years with TDSB and then graduated from University of Toronto (OISE) with a Masters in Teaching with a Minor in French. Merissa continued to work with the TDSB teaching Grade 4, 5 and 6. Having children of her own and working with so many students, Merissa understands that children all have their own identity and are curious learners but have individual learning styles, skills and abilities. She knows that families are students’ first teachers and believes in a reciprocal approach and open door policy to collaborate and communicate to support students become resilient and reach their full potential. Merissa enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends and loves going to the beach.

Most Roshanara P. is a highly experienced Biology and Science teacher, trainer, and student counselor with 11 years of experience in secondary and higher secondary schools. She has a Master’s degree in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from the University of Regina, enhancing her skills in assisting students and families with ethnic diversity and intellectual ability. Her other Master’s degree in Science as well as relevant teaching experience in Human Physiology, Biology, Intermediate Science, and Junior Mathematics for the last 11 years in secondary and higher secondary schools helped her achieve resilience in the learning and teaching process.
Most P. has a strong belief in inclusive pedagogies, indigenous teaching methods, and trauma-informed practices. She has worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, gaining knowledge in Standard First-AIDs Level-C with CPR & AED, and a micro-credential for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Most Pervin has also worked in elementary school settings with special needs students, developing social and interpersonal skills, mindfulness, collegial leadership, and diverse environments. I am a cerified francophone teacher. I have helped students from preschool to university. I am currently completing my masters in intercultural studies focusing on Métis Francophone relations. I write for a paper in my spare time and currently am a grade 2 homeroom teacher.
