Chloe is a third-year Biological Science student at the University of Guelph with over four years of tutoring experience. Since 2020, she has worked one-on-one with students aged 3 to 12, providing academic support in a variety of subjects, mainly French and English. As a proud member of the Ontario College of Teachers, Antoniette’s passion for teaching began early. After graduating from York Unversity’s Concurrent Bachelor of Education degree program 25 years ago, she was fortunate to step right into the classroom, securing a teaching position immediately. Since then, she has been dedicated to inspire, support, and make a difference in the lives of her students. Teaching has been more than just a career for Antoniette, it’s been a calling ever since she was a little girl. She found joy in helping others learn, whether it was playing “teacher” with her siblings or guiding younger children through their schoolwork. That passion never faded; it only grew stronger. Now as an educator, she has the privilege to shape young minds every day. For her, teaching has become a purpose, a journey, and an ongoing commitment to empowering students. When summer arrives, Antoniette embraces another passion beyond the classroom. She loves to travel with her family, exploring new places, and making unforgettable memories. Whether it’s chasing waterfalls, hiking through rainforests, or simply immersing herself in nature’s beauty, she explores the world with the same wonder she encourages in her students. STEPHANIE Q.
Stephanie is a Teacher Candidate at the University of Toronto. Originally from China, she moved to Canada to complete her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Toronto. After graduation, she worked as a nutrition consultant. Following the birth of her daughter, Stephanie spent a lot of time at the Early Years Center and volunteered at schools. She has been tutoring math for primary, junior and intermediate grade students, enjoying the opportunity to help each student discover their own strengths and talents. During the pandemic, while homeschooling her daughter in sixth grade, Stephanie decided to pursue a career in teaching. Most recently, she completed her teaching practicum at JICS Lab School and Bedford Park Public School. Stephanie believes in a student-centered approach to teaching, where each child’s unique abilities and interests are nurtured. In her spare time, Stephanie really enjoys cooking, listening to classical music and taking nature walks.

With a robust foundation in early childhood and special education, along with her credentials as a licensed learning consultant specializing in neurodiversity, Stacey brings expertise and passion to her work with students.
As a Neurodivergent Specialist, Stacey’s approach, grounded in the constructivist theory, prioritizes experiential learning through dynamic, hands-on activities, social and emotional engagement, and meaningful project-based outcomes.
Taylor J.
Taylor is a Special Education Teacher and ABA Therapist. She holds a Masters in Teaching from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (UofT), and is working towards her Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification with the Florida Institute of Technology. She currently works with the English Montreal School Board and previously worked for the Toronto District School Board for three years. Taylor brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning challenges. Taylor’s expertise in creating and implementing personalized learning intervention plans makes learning accessible and fun for all learners, while building the confidence and skills for academic success.

Welcome, families! My name is Francesca and I am a dedicated K-6 tutor with a deep passion for education and its impact on young minds. I am currently pursuing a teaching degree at Lakehead University and hold a degree in Sociology and Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University. With over two years of tutoring experience at Kumon and more than five years in childcare, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every session.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education from Australian Catholic University. Originally from Australia, she recently relocated to Toronto and brings a dynamic approach to teaching that emphasizes hands-on learning and meaningful student connections. She understands that every student is unique, with different learning styles and needs, and she is committed to adapting her teaching to support each individual.
What Rachel enjoys most about teaching is witnessing those breakthrough ‘aha’ moments, when a student’s confidence grows and a concept finally clicks. She strives to create an encouraging environment where students feel empowered to take on new challenges and develop a love for learning.
Beyond the classroom, Rachel has a passion for travel and is making the most of her time in Canada by exploring her new surroundings.
Melissa H.
Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor. She has worked for the WCDSB for two and a half years and has taught Kindergarten, Grade 1/2, and Grade 5. Her favourite subjects to teach are Math and Art. Melissa looks forward to working with your child in a way that helps to develop their academic skills and confidence.

Laghima is a Chemistry student at the University of Calgary with years of tutoring experience in math, chemistry, and English for students in grades 1 through 10.
