Dr. A. B. Lewis

Dr. A. B. Lewis, Jr. is what is known as a career-switcher. He worked in the Human Resources field as a recruiter before he found his calling as a teacher. Dr. Lewis had already obtained a degree in English from Kean University in New Jersey, so the transition to teaching was ideal for him. He taught English for eight years, first at the high school level and then at a middle school. He was an empathetic teacher, having been a student himself for the majority of his teaching career. After he started teaching, he obtained his Master of Education in Teaching & Learning and his Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Dr. Lewis’ experience includes tutoring students during remediation sessions at school and with a franchise tutoring service. His passion for education guides him as he oversees teachers as a high school administrator. During school breaks, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and traveling. Dr. Lewis believes that with a willing student and teacher working together, learning can take place, regardless the circumstances.

repeatable processes. She expects students to arrive prepared, focused, and ready to work, encouraging habits that mirror the discipline required for college, careers, and personal achievement.
