Lauryn O.
Lauryn is a certified elementary and special education teacher and reading specialist with over 14 years of classroom and tutoring experience. She is passionate about helping her students build confidence and thrive academically.
With an interest in teaching since a young age, Lauryn pursued her career upon graduating from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Elementary & Special Education and an M.S. as a Reading Specialist. She has taught students in kindergarten through 6th grade one-on-one, in small groups, and in the whole class setting. Born and raised in Downers Grove, Amanda grew up a lover of school and learning with an
extra passion for math. As she started her career in teaching, her passion switched to reading
and teaching reading! Amanda participated in competitive dance and cheer throughout her
collegiate years and continues to be as active as she can lifting, running, and completing her
first marathon in October 2024! Amanda loves working with students of all ages and abilities,
helping them accomplish their goals and move on to the next challenge!

Breanna is a dedicated educator with a passion for helping young learners. She graduated from Elmhurst University in May of 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, an endorsement for teaching Multilingual English Learners, a letter of approval to teach Early Childhood Special Education, and a minor in Music.
Breanna is a first-year Kindergarten teacher excitedly preparing to continue teaching Kindergarten in her second year next fall. With many years of childcare experience behind her, having worked as a babysitter, nanny, and tutor, she brings a warm and patient approach to teaching. She enjoys finding ways to make learning fun and meaningful.
In her free time, Breanna loves to sing, play instruments, crochet, and hike. She loves to spend time with her family. She has a family dog named Riley. She also adopted her first pet in August – an 8 year old cat named Callie!

My name is Sara. I am a lover of learning, an English teacher, and a mother of 4 little ones. As a classically trained educator, I have taught for the last 10 years in public and private schools. I have taught in every educational environment, and to students from grades pre-k through freshman in college. I am certified in Reading K-12, and in English 6-12. I have taught every level of English; grammar level math; and foundational Spanish and French.
In addition to speaking and reading Spanish academically, I have taught introductory Spanish and French to young children. I consider myself a lover of languages, and am always looking to personally further my linguistic knowledge. I also consider myself a bit of an anthropologist; I love studying various cultures! Combining my love for teaching with my understanding of languages and cultures allows me to reach my students at a deep learning level and make meaningful connections, both personally and intellectually.

Mrs. Tamara is a seasoned K–12 teacher based in North County San Diego, with a focus on Language Arts, Reading and Writing, as well as Spanish and German. She has experience teaching AP English and History, and her students have successfully earned college credits through her instruction. Before shifting to one-on-one and small group tutoring, she taught 5th grade and Kindergarten at a private school in San Diego.
Tamara is also a homeschool teacher and has led small group classes with a creative and student-centered approach. She designs engaging lessons that incorporate her students’ interests, helping them build both skills and confidence. In addition to academic support, she has successfully worked with students on executive functioning, motivation, Dyslexia, and ADD/ADHD.
