She has over six years of experience as a professional copywriter, screenwriter, and comedy writer. Katie’s original TV script was selected as a finalist in a national comedy writing competition; the short film she wrote and produced was an official selection of the 2021 Revival Film Festival; and the “TED Talk” she wrote about a powerhouse social justice organization’s transformative five-year tenure received a standing ovation from a live audience of over 700 guests. Megan is an experienced science and technical professional with a strong background in environmental science, GIS, teaching, tutoring, and public communication. She holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Environmental Science, along with a Geographic Information Systems certificate and professional GISP credential. Tammie earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.E. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and was a National Merit Scholar. She has been teaching and tutoring in various settings since she was in high school and has more than 10 years of professional tutoring experience. She works with students in math and test preparation, including the SAT, ACT, PSAT, ISEE, SSAT, and TACHS.

Danielle is a dedicated educator with over 17 years of experience in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, certified in Elementary Education and English 6-12. She currently serves as Student Activities Director at Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Senior High School and teaches a dual enrollment Critical Thinking course through Miami-Dade College as part of the school’s Sharks Scholars program. Dr. Amy P. is an educator who loves tutoring students. She began her educational journey
in New Orleans at Loyola University. There she majored in English, then continued her studies
at UNO where she earned an MA. She worked at an Alabama community college where she
taught writing, literature and the humanities for 17 years. During that time, she earned a PhD in
English from Georgia State University.
Ten years ago, Dr. Porche returned to her beloved New Orleans to begin a tutoring business.
She tutors students either one-on-one in person, or on-line. She guides learners (middle school
level through graduate school) through the art of writing and critical thinking by tailoring her
instruction to meet her students’ particular academic needs. She has successfully helped
students raise their grades, achieve higher scores on the SAT or ACT, and improved their
chances for acceptance to the college or university of their choice.
Amy tackles every teaching opportunity with both diligence and professionalism. Her students

time, she is working on her first novel. Creative writing is another of her passions, and she
