JEDRI D.
Hello! My name is Jedri. Throughout my post-secondary education, I’ve gained over six years of experience teaching math and science at all levels. I hold a Master’s degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Waterloo and have extensive experience working in both research and academic environments. I’m passionate about making complex ideas accessible to all students, regardless of their unique situations. I believe everyone has the capacity to learn—it’s just a matter of finding the best way to explain it! In my free time, I continue to explore my love for astronomy by stargazing. When the conditions are right, I enjoy spending my nights under the stars, reminded of the wonder and beauty in the science I teach.

Cole L.
The inner mechanisms of things intrigued Cole, which set his love for math and science in motion. This passion led him to pursue and attain a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at UBCO in 2019. Though his academic background is technical in nature, Cole’s interests are certainly not at an end there. He proudly claims to be a nerd who spends his free time playing Dungeons and Dragons and video games. He is also an avid movie-watcher, especially Marvel, and enjoys watching anime.
Helping others means the world to Cole because he understands from experience how tough a concept can be to grasp, and a little direction can go a long way. With him, every tutoring session is filled with his passion for learning-from working through problematic math problems to explaining scientific concepts in a manner easily understood. He enjoys the close interaction with the students, getting to know them on a personal basis and understanding their individual style of learning in order to make sure they are well taken care of.
He wants them not only to become academically excellent but also to develop a love for the process of learning, as he has.
