JACLYN M.

Jaclyn is an Ontario and British Columbia certified teacher. She received her Bachelor of Education in 2021 following her undergraduate degree in psychology. After teaching grades 1-8 in Ontario for the past two years she is now enjoying her third year of teaching and her first year as part of the Vancouver School Board.

Jaclyn also has over three years of tutoring experience including a diverse range of students and subject areas. Jaclyn prides herself on really getting to know her learners. When tutoring she creates individualized, engaging and hands-on educational opportunities catered to the learning styles of each learner she works with.

Jaclyn is an easy-going, patient and reliable individual. In her free time she enjoys reading, board games, watching sports and any activity outdoors.

DEBORAH S.

Deborah is an Early Childhood Educator with many years of experience working alongside children. She is currently working for the Peel District School Board as an educator in the kindergarten classroom.

During the summer months, Deborah works one-on-one with children with ASD to help them achieve their academic and life skills goals. Deborah believes that all children are unique and the best way to keep them engaged is to follow their lead.

In her spare time she likes to read, go for walks with her dog and spend time with her family and friends.

TRAVIS P.

Travis P

Travis began his teaching journey by leading media and animation workshops for students in elementary schools in York Region. He has since acquired his Bachelor of Education degree from Lakehead University and has worked as an Occasional Teacher in Public Schools and as a Classroom Assistant for a summer camp program for students with ASD/Autism. He recently moved to Hamilton and is excited to begin working with students of all ages! He enjoys working one-on-one with learners and discovering new ways to make lessons more engaging, more personal more meaningful to his students.

SEHAR J.

Sehar is a single mother to a three year old daughter. She has a background in Early Childhood Education. Sehar has been in the field for over 12 years. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Education focusing on inclusive practice for students with exceptionalities. Sehar is a registered teacher in New York State and Ontario. She is proficient in the Ontario School Curriculum.

SARA D.

Sara is an Ontario Certified Teacher. She graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Sara also holds a post graduate diploma in Human Services Administration from Sheridan College, as well as a Master of Science in Education from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY.
Prior to completing her education degree Sara spent a year in Tokyo, Japan where she taught English to adults and children. She has over 20 years of tutoring experience including all elementary subjects, as well as ESL and math up to grade 10. Sara is currently teaching at a private school where she has been working for 12 years, having taught grades 3, 5, 7, and 8. She also has experience running extra-curricular programs in math and science enrichment, teaching visual art classes for children, and running a summer art camp.
Sara is kind and patient, and she genuinely enjoys helping her students build confidence and find success. She takes the time to get to know each of her students so that she can ensure they are interested in their own learning, and that they have fun! W
