For over three decades, Patricia A. Sullivan has dedicated her professional life to advancing literacy and supporting diverse learners in both public school and university settings. Her career reflects a deep commitment to student success, teacher development, and inclusive education.
Patricia began her journey in education in 1990 as a Teacher of the Handicapped in the Passaic Public School system. Over the next 14 years, she worked closely with students with a wide range of learning needs, developing individualized instructional materials, conducting ongoing assessments, and reinforcing critical learning goals. Her compassionate, student-centered approach helped ensure that all learners received the attention and support needed to thrive academically and socially.
Recognizing her leadership potential, the Passaic school district appointed Patricia as a Literacy Coach in 2011. In this supervisory position, she played a key role in implementing New Jersey’s Reading First initiatives under the federal No Child Left Behind Act. Patricia led professional development sessions, coached educators on research-based instructional strategies, and worked to elevate reading instruction across multiple grade levels.
Since 2012, Patricia has served as a Reading Tutor at William Paterson University, where she applies Orton-Gillingham techniques to build phonemic awareness and blending skills among struggling readers. With an interest in teaching since a young age, Lauryn pursued her career upon graduating from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Elementary & Special Education and an M.S. as a Reading Specialist. She has taught students in kindergarten through 6th grade one-on-one, in small groups, and in the whole class setting. Lauryn has specialist knowledge in reading and math with Wilson reading program training, an Orton-Gillingham Structured Literacy Certification, a Mathematics Coaching Endorsement, and extensive experience teaching students with learning disabilities, including dyslexia.

She is currently a sixth year teacher and has worked with Rocky View Schools (4 years) and currently works with Calgary Catholic School District (1 year-present). She is currently a Junior High Physical Education teacher and Athletic Director. She has experience teaching English Language Arts, Religion, and Physical Eeducation with junior high students in grades 7-9. She also has experience with all subject areas with elementary students in grades 3-6.
Laura was a University of Regina Varsity track and field athlete who also currently coaches club track and field with Caltaf.

Megan McCoy is a Certified Teacher. She grew up in Emmett, moving to Colville, Washington, and Carson City, Nevada, to complete an Online Undergraduate Degree in General Education (K-8) and Special Education (K-12) with an endorsement in Teaching English as a Second Language. She has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education with an endorsement in Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. Megan grew up with a deep love of travel, concerts, and the ocean, and took the opportunity to explore the West Coast while completing her degrees. During her stays, Megan discovered her passion for teaching and working with children. When she decided to pursue teaching as a career, Megan moved back home to teach in her hometown and begin a family. Through teaching, Megan has been able to foster her love of Math and reading. During the summer months, Megan enjoys teaching summer school (which encourages all children to enjoy learning through interactive, consistent, and hands-on experiences), reading, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. Megan is beginning to work one-on-one with children from 6 years old through middle school in her spare time who struggle with behavior, as well as helping support them by improving their reading, writing, vocabulary, and math skills.
