Faraz holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University, double majoring in Biology and Chemistry, and has completed graduate studies in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. He brings over five years of teaching experience, covering everything from elementary math and science to advanced undergraduate mathematics and standardized test prep. As a former teaching assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Faraz has led classrooms, worked with small groups, delivered lectures, and graded exams.
A Chicagoland native, Faraz discovered his passion for teaching in college while introducing gifted children to LEGO robotics and computer programming. Outside the classroom, he is a dedicated runner—once a cross-country athlete, now a regular jogger—and a grilling enthusiast who insists barbecuing is equal parts science and art. Faraz’s teaching philosophy revolves around creating independent learners. Nicholas B.

Nicholas is a passionate and highly experienced math instructor with a Master’s Degree in Education from Sacred Heart University. Nicholas teaches remotely in the mornings through a one-on-one independent school in Connecticut and works in the afternoons at two learning centers in Florida. Hi, I’m Muskaan, a graduate student in Bioengineering at Rice University with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Bruce is an experienced educator with over 30 years of teaching and tutoring across academic subjects including math, science, writing, history, and geography. He’s helped students at all levels improve understanding, raise grades, and boost scores on standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, GED, AP exams, Regents, ASVAB, and Civil Service tests. He’s served as an Adjunct Professor for over 30 years at several colleges, and also taught with The Princeton Review and Kaplan, bringing proven test-prep strategies to his students. In addition to 20 years of private tutoring, he spent 5 years with Science Adventures, running after-school science programs and summer camps plus 6 years at Treasure Island Day Camp in charge of all Nature programs.
His professional background includes more than two decades at Brookhaven National Lab, as well as technical and management roles at Grumman Aerospace, Robotic Vision Systems, Megadata, and American Science, working in scientific research, engineering, software development, management, and consulting. He’s also developed training programs and educational curricula for both academic and professional settings.

Sandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida and brings a strong academic foundation to her role as a tutor. For the past three years, she has worked with students ranging from Pre-K to college, teaching subjects such as English, chemistry, organic chemistry, and various math courses.

Dr. Dao N. is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at San Diego State University. His teaching philosophy centers on cultivating student enthusiasm and motivation, which he sees as essential to academic success.

Dao earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Wayne State University. His research interests include optimization, control theory, and data science, and he is currently writing a book on machine learning. He’s passionate about both the theoretical and applied sides of mathematics. Outside academia, he enjoys singing, playing instruments, hiking, cooking, swimming, and spending time with friends.

Victoria is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. She received an excellent education in both countries: Lyceum 239 (the top 1% Advanced Math High School in Russia), a BS/MS in Applied Mathematics from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (St. Petersburg, Russia), and an MS in Computer Science from Tufts University (Medford, MA, USA). Victoria has 20 years of experience teaching in the classroom. She is a Florida-certified math teacher (grades 5-12). Currently, she tutors Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, as well as EOC and High School Entrance Exam Preparation, accommodating various learning styles. To make learning more fun, Victoria loves to show how to apply math in real life, such as using the golden ratio in art and fashion, or performing math magic tricks like guessing your birthday!
