Dr. Howard C.
Dr. Howard C. received his BS with Cum Laude, MS, and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle. While he was attending UW, he worked as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Washington Graduate School. He spent a better part of his career as a research engineer in fingerprinting audio, image and video streams. He has received a total of three U.S. patents. After his retirement from industry, Dr. C. started tutoring students in all levels of math, physics, and statistics. It is his pleasure to help students to appreciate the mechanics behind learning these subjects. His students come from many prominent schools and school districts. To Dr. C., math is a passion. He always encourages students “to see” instead of “to memorize”. A picture is worth more than 1,000 words.

BEN G.
Hello! Winnipeg born and raised, I have a B.Sc in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. This led to a PhD in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manitoba and ultimately working as an astrophysicist with NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center.
I found my love of teaching through outreach events at the university planetarium, Science Rendezvous, and leading the astrophysics course laboratory sessions. Now I am back home and looking to pursue a teaching career.
I have more than 10 years experience with tutoring and teaching students of varying levels and backgrounds and know that the same approach will not work for everyone. Together let’s figure out which approach will work for you.
JEDRI D.
Hello! My name is Jedri. Throughout my post-secondary education, I’ve gained over six years of experience teaching math and science at all levels. I hold a Master’s degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Waterloo and have extensive experience working in both research and academic environments. I’m passionate about making complex ideas accessible to all students, regardless of their unique situations. I believe everyone has the capacity to learn—it’s just a matter of finding the best way to explain it! In my free time, I continue to explore my love for astronomy by stargazing. When the conditions are right, I enjoy spending my nights under the stars, reminded of the wonder and beauty in the science I teach.
