Zach L.

Zachery Lundgren received his Ph.D. in Rhetoric, Writing, and Composition from East Carolina University. He also has an MFA from the University of South Florida, and a BA from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Zach has taught at the college level for seven years, and has tutored students from middle school to graduate school in a variety of subjects. His primary areas of expertise are English, Essay Writing, and Science.

When he isn’t teaching or tutoring, Zach loves hiking, camping, and backpacking in the Colorado backcountry. He is also an avid reader and has published a book of poetry: Turkey Vulture, published by Meadowlark Press.

Banke F.

Banke F. is a Certified Teacher with a strong passion for education, science, and student success. She is currently in the process of obtaining her bachelor’s degree, graduating early, while building a solid foundation in both the humanities and advanced STEM disciplines. Banke tutors a wide range of subjects, from introductory History and English courses to advanced STEM classes, including Biology, Biochemistry, and Organic Chemistry, with over a year of experience tutoring Organic Chemistry I and II. She is deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, tailoring her teaching approach to each student’s unique learning style—whether auditory, visual, or hands-on—to ensure they feel comfortable, confident, and heard. Alongside her tutoring work, Banke is actively involved in scientific research and was selected as one of only two students out of thousands applicants to participate as a BIO SENS intern at the University of New England this past summer. Outside of tutoring, she enjoys traveling and dedicates time to studying for the MCAT, bringing both discipline and curiosity into everything she does. Banke believes that strong relationships and personalized instruction are the foundation of meaningful learning, and she finds guiding students toward confidence and academic growth both fulfilling and rewarding.

Howdy! My name is Ms. Garza and I have been working in education for close to 6 years now. This is my 5th year teaching and I have experience in working with all grade levels, from pre-k to 11th grade. I am currently an AP English Language/English 1 teacher and taught middle school Social Studies for 4 years. One of my favorite things about teaching is helping students achieve that “a-ha!” moment and getting them to reach that next level in their learning. I enjoy building connections and learning more about my students, as I firmly believe that kids want to learn from people they enjoy being with. I’m looking forward to this next chapter of helping students one-on-one and to possibly working with yours!

Hi, I’m Muskaan, a graduate student in Bioengineering at Rice University with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics.
