Armed with a plethora of certifications including preschool education and pre-K/primary education and reading, ESOL, and pre-k disability endorsements, she stands as a beacon of excellence in the field of education. Vannessa’s passion for working with children traces back to her high school years, where she first discovered her calling through early childhood classes. Since then, she has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the field of education, continuously seeking out opportunities for professional growth and development.
Vannessa’s teaching career began in a private school as a teacher’s aide. As a teacher’s aide, she gained more experience with young learners from kindergarten through fifth grade. Soon enough, she became a kindergarten teacher, where she fostered a love for learning and laid the foundation for academic success in her students. Shortly after, through Miami Dade College’s School of Education program, she became a resident teacher gaining more insight in a public school setting. As a lifelong learner and advocate for children’s education, Vannessa remains committed to making a positive diMerence in the lives of her students and shaping the future generation.
Outside the classroom, Vannessa leads a vibrant and fulfilling life, indulging in many interests and hobbies. From devouring the pages of a captivating book to exploring new foods and traveling to new destinations. Whether she’s hitting the gym for a workout, indulging in the occasional well deserved nap (or two), basking in the sun on the beach, or spending quality time with loved ones, Vanessa she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Hannah P.
Hannah P. is a certified teacher. She grew up in Davie, FL, moving to University of Florida to complete her Undergraduate Degree. After graduating, she was accepted into Teach for America, where she taught at an underserved school so she could transform education and expand opportunity for all children, regardless of their economic background. While working in the classroom, Hannah’s passion for teaching further developed. She took on more leadership roles in her school so that she could impact more students than just her own. She became the Reading Department Chair her school, as well as the Model Teacher of the school to serve as a guide to help new teachers deliver effective and meaningful instruction. As well, she completed a Post Graduate Diploma at Florida State University where she received her Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration. Through her deep knowledge of instruction, her energetic and charismatic personality, her interactive and hands-on learning experiences, and the solid relationships she builds with her students, Hannah has helped the most fragile of students grow a love for learning. She finds that helping students reach their highest potential is the most rewarding experience.

Growing up in the vibrant city of Nashville, TN, Ashley always harbored a profound thirst for knowledge and a genuine desire to help others. From her earliest days, she displayed a natural curiosity about the world, eagerly immersing herself in books and engaging in stimulating conversations with friends and family.
Upon completing high school, Ashley set her sights on higher education at the prestigious University of Miami. Pursuing a degree in Psychology, she embarked on a journey of exploration, diving into a diverse array of subjects including Spanish and literature. As Ashley delved deeper into her studies, she felt a calling to use her knowledge to empower others. Recognizing the transformative potential of education, she decided to focus on tutoring and teaching fellow students. Jessica has a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Cambridge. She grew up in Connecticut and has worked or studied in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK. As an undergraduate, Jessica was a tutor and mentor at a bilingual (English/Spanish) middle school, where she was awarded “Mentor of the Semester” for her dedication to students’ success and wellbeing. In the years since, Jessica has taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to children, teenagers, and adults from around the world. She has experience with all levels of ESL, from absolute beginners to very advanced learners. For several years, Jessica was a teaching assistant for a university-level linguistics course. She worked closely with small groups of first-year college students on linguistics exercises, study skills, essay writing, and exam preparation. Jessica also has extensive experience in writing and editing. She has copyedited academic papers, including PhD dissertations, in a variety of humanities and social sciences subjects. She has also worked with international educational publishing companies as writer, editor, and content developer. Jessica’s publishing work focused on elementary school and high school textbooks and included first-hand experience with multiple literacy skills, social-emotional learning, public speaking and presentation skills, and project-based learning. She is also fluent in Spanish. Jessica is a lifelong dog lover and has an adorable, sweet, and very playful Shih Tzu-Maltese mix named Shana.
Shannon L.
Shannon is a passionate, caring, and empowering educator certified to teach all subjects from preschool through sixth grade. She completed her BA in Elementary Education at Florida Atlantic University and continued her education at Barry University to obtain a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a certification in Montessori Education. Shannon has over 15 years experience teaching, tutoring, and creating individualized, interactive, and engaging lessons. With additional certifications in ESOL, Reading, Gifted, Montessori Education, and Mental Health First Aide, Shannon is well qualified to meet the needs of a diverse student population and focus on supporting the whole child. She is also uniquely qualified to help students fine tune their skills with organization, study strategies, and executive functioning. She welcomes a challenge and has yet to meet a child that she was unable to build some sort of connection with. Shannon truly has a gift for mentoring and educating that could reach even the most resistant student. In her free time Shannon enjoys exploring the outdoors and homeschooling her three year old son, reading fiction novels, and traveling.
