Jeniffer Garcia is an elementary teacher. Since 2016, she has dedicated herself to fostering children’s educational needs and development from various age groups. Her experience includes preschool teacher (Reggio Emilia philosophy) which implements environmental teaching and hands-on learning, as well as an elementary school teacher where she has incorporated various learning styles and Registered Behavioral Technician where she worked with special needs children for the past four years. Victoria is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. She received an excellent education in both countries: Lyceum 239 (the top 1% Advanced Math High School in Russia), a BS/MS in Applied Mathematics from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (St. Petersburg, Russia), and an MS in Computer Science from Tufts University (Medford, MA, USA). Victoria has 20 years of experience teaching in the classroom. She is a Florida-certified math teacher (grades 5-12). Currently, she tutors Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, as well as EOC and High School Entrance Exam Preparation, accommodating various learning styles. To make learning more fun, Victoria loves to show how to apply math in real life, such as using the golden ratio in art and fashion, or performing math magic tricks like guessing your birthday!
Esmie O.
Esmie is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Neural Engineering at the University of Miami where she is also a teaching assistant for the College of Engineering. She possesses a strong background in Calculus and Physics and is available to tutor Calc I/II and Physics I/II as well as Precalculus. She has a strong passion for teaching and is planning on pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering with the goal of becoming a professor. Apart from her teaching assistant role, she has previously tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in a variety of subjects. When she is not engaged in engineering, Esmie spends her free time reading, listening to music, and going on walks with her dog. Before college, she was a competitive figure skater and still enjoys going to the rink from time to time.
Vannessa H.
Born and raised in the vibrant state of Florida, Vannessa is a driven educator who has dedicated her life to shaping the minds of young learners. With a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, she embarked on her journey into the realm of teaching with a passion for nurturing young minds. Armed with a plethora of certifications including preschool education and pre-K/primary education and reading, ESOL, and pre-k disability endorsements, she stands as a beacon of excellence in the field of education. Vannessa’s passion for working with children traces back to her high school years, where she first discovered her calling through early childhood classes. Since then, she has dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the field of education, continuously seeking out opportunities for professional growth and development.
Vannessa’s teaching career began in a private school as a teacher’s aide. As a teacher’s aide, she gained more experience with young learners from kindergarten through fifth grade. Soon enough, she became a kindergarten teacher, where she fostered a love for learning and laid the foundation for academic success in her students. Shortly after, through Miami Dade College’s School of Education program, she became a resident teacher gaining more insight in a public school setting. As a lifelong learner and advocate for children’s education, Vannessa remains committed to making a positive diMerence in the lives of her students and shaping the future generation.
Outside the classroom, Vannessa leads a vibrant and fulfilling life, indulging in many interests and hobbies. From devouring the pages of a captivating book to exploring new foods and traveling to new destinations. Whether she’s hitting the gym for a workout, indulging in the occasional well deserved nap (or two), basking in the sun on the beach, or spending quality time with loved ones, Vanessa she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Hannah P.
Hannah P. is a certified teacher. She grew up in Davie, FL, moving to University of Florida to complete her Undergraduate Degree. After graduating, she was accepted into Teach for America, where she taught at an underserved school so she could transform education and expand opportunity for all children, regardless of their economic background. While working in the classroom, Hannah’s passion for teaching further developed. She took on more leadership roles in her school so that she could impact more students than just her own. She became the Reading Department Chair her school, as well as the Model Teacher of the school to serve as a guide to help new teachers deliver effective and meaningful instruction. As well, she completed a Post Graduate Diploma at Florida State University where she received her Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration. Through her deep knowledge of instruction, her energetic and charismatic personality, her interactive and hands-on learning experiences, and the solid relationships she builds with her students, Hannah has helped the most fragile of students grow a love for learning. She finds that helping students reach their highest potential is the most rewarding experience.

Marzia earned a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Michigan. She completed her undergraduate education in Italy and obtained master’s degrees in Switzerland and the United States. Lauren P. is a life-long educator for young children with certifications in Pre-kindergarten/Primary Education, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership with a Gifted Endorsement. Lauren is a life member of Phi Kappa Phi and was in Who’s Who America’s Teachers. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida with a 4.0 G.P.A. Lauren’s life goal has been to assist children in becoming the best they can be and enabling them to achieve to their maximum potential. Always driven by her goal to make a positive difference in children’s lives, she has taught for a total of 42 years in Christian private school education and wishes to tutor your young child. Lauren has also tutored and nannied young children, assisting them with homework and daily routines. Lauren enjoys assisting children with homework and after school activities. Umir is a Miami native currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science Degree at Florida International University, specializing in pre-dentistry. From sixth grade onwards, Umir has harbored a passion for tutoring in various subjects. During high school, he assumed leadership roles in math and science clubs, taking charge of organizing after-school tutoring sessions. Now, at the university level, Umir serves as a Learning Assistant for biology and English classes, in addition to his role as a tutor in the math lab.
Umir’s journey as a tutor commenced during high school when his voluntary assistance to fellow students caught the attention of teachers. Impressed by his dedication, they recommended Umir join after-school tutoring clubs. In university, his professors recognized his outstanding academic record and extended an invitation for him to become a paid Learning Assistant and math lab tutor.
