Rachel M.

Rachel graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors and a minor in Narrative Studies. She is continuing her academic pursuits at the McGill Faculty of Law’s J.D./B.C.L. program, where she is the director of L.E.X, the Faculty’s student-led educational outreach program for youth across Montreal.

Rachel tutors a variety of subjects but is particularly comfortable with the humanities, English, psychology, essay-writing, and college applications.

Rachel published her first research paper, “Addiction science and conceptions of freewill”, in the scientific journal Addictive Behaviors. She was the opinion editor and columnist for USC’s only student-run publication, the Daily Trojan, and is a four-time Canadian national public speaking champion. Rachel’s extensive writing experience make her qualified to assist students with writing challenges of all forms (research papers, lab reports, college application essays, etc.).

Further, Rachel’s public speaking accolades render her uniquely equipped to communicate difficult material and her extraverted personality allows her to build rapport quickly with students.
