Olivia is a medical student at Queen’s University School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, majoring in Biomedical Sciences, before earning her Master of Science at the University of Toronto.
Olivia brings extensive teaching experience across multiple levels, including elementary, high school, and undergraduate education. Olivia has worked as a private tutor and as a graduate teaching assistant, supporting diverse learners in achieving their academic goals.

Peter D. R.
Peter is completing his final term of a Bachelor of Science degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in Chemistry and Psychology. Through his studies, he has developed a lifelong interest in science and mathematics. He particularly enjoys helping others understand challenging concepts. Peter is eager to begin tutoring and supporting students, helping them to grow in confidence in their academic skills.
Peter has worked with many young people in group settings, including assisting instructors at a Totus Tuus day camp and participating in training for overnight camp counselling. These experiences enabled him to support younger students and guide them through various activities across a variety of learning environments.
In breaking down complex topics into simpler steps, Peter uses real-world examples to help students better understand the material. His goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and develop confidence.
Outside of academics, Peter enjoys playing hockey, golf, and soccer, as well as gaming and chess. He looks forward to helping students enhance their understanding of science and mathematics and achieve their academic goals.

Sophie is a mechanical engineering student at York University. She has been working with children and youth for three years and plans to become a high school math and physics teacher. Sophie is dedicated to helping her students build confidence and a love for learning through engaging in supportive instruction, tailored to each students unique needs and learning styles. She places an emphasis on organization and time management, helping students develop skills that support academic success while helping them navigate changes and challenges in their learning journey
Outside of the classroom, Sophie is an athlete, an experience that has taught her the value of teamwork, perseverance and leadership, all qualities that she brings to her teaching. In her free time, she likes to read, hike, and exploring new hobbies.

Jessica is a certified teacher who works in the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (SMCDSB), holding qualifications in the Primary, Junior, and Intermediate divisions. She holds a degree in both Education and Therapeutic Recreation, which allows her to take a well-rounded, student-centred approach—supporting not only academic growth, but also confidence, motivation, and overall well-being.
With many years of experience working with children through both classroom teaching and summer programming, as well as a background in dance instruction, she brings a calm, engaging, and responsive teaching style. Holly R.
Holly is a certified Ontario teacher passionate about helping students master the foundations of reading and math while fostering creativity, confidence, and a love of learning. She believes in going back to the basics to build essential skills, while integrating the arts and leadership opportunities to engage students and encourage self-expression.
Holly completed her undergraduate degree and Bachelor of Education at Queen’s University and is the first scholarship recipient of the new Global Leadership & Experiential Education Certificate, a collaborative program between Queen’s University and her alma mater, Pickering College, which includes five Additional Qualifications for educators. She has taught Kindergarten and early elementary grades across the Trillium Lakelands and York Region District School Boards and has supported early reading interventions (SERT), giving her insight into individualized literacy support. Holly is trained on and has delivered remedial reading programs using the Haggerty Phonemic Awareness and Early Literacy Program, the UFLI reading system and the Wilson Reading Program.
Having spent all her summers growing up in Muskoka reading, writing, and exploring nature, Holly now lives in the region with her family and teaches locally. She holds Additional Qualifications in Outdoor & Experiential Education, Teacher Leadership Part 1, and Special Education Part 1, and is passionate about inclusive, differentiated instruction that helps each student thrive academically, socially, and creatively.

Jimmy L.
Jimmy is a third-year Kinesiology and Health Science student at York University with a strong academic record, maintaining a 3.91 GPA and earning recognition for academic excellence. Seema M.
Seema brings forth a wealth of teaching experience. With over 25 years of service for the TDSB and private tutoring institutions, Seema has worked with students of varying levels in both elementary and secondary capacities. Graduating from UofT with an honours specialist degree in Chemistry and French, and a Bachelor’s of Education degree from Queen’s University Seema seamlessly moves between subjects within the Ontario curriculum. In her spare time she is a freelance writer and director who has contributed articles to literary journals and produced documentary films for the National Film Board of Canada.
