Emily P.
Emily completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Waterloo, where she also earned a Minor in Computer Science and Specialization in Professional Accountancy. She has experience mentoring and tutoring students from ages 9-20 in several subjects from her past teaching roles.
At Waterloo, she was a teaching assistant for introductory and upper-level university accounting courses. During her time in high school, she volunteered at the Toronto Chung Wah Chinese School and delivered small group math lessons to grades 7-10 students. In 2014, she became a certified tutor through the tutoring program, License to Learn. There, she learned and practised crucial teaching techniques such as lesson personalization and setting lesson milestone while tutoring special needs elementary students. Peter is completing his final term of a Bachelor of Science degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in Chemistry and Psychology. Peter has worked with many young people in group settings, including assisting instructors at a Totus Tuus day camp and participating in training for overnight camp counselling.
