Grace W.
Grace is an Ontario certified teacher currently completing her Master of Teaching degree from OISE at the University of Toronto. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics with a minor in Earth Sciences from McMaster University, providing her with a strong academic foundation in math, physics, and science education.
With extensive tutoring experience across Grades 4 to 12, Grace specializes in helping students build confidence, achieve their academic goals, and develop lifelong learning skills. Her approach is to meet each student’s unique needs and ensure success.
In her free time, Grace enjoys spending quality moments with her family and dogs.
Boris G.
Boris G. combines industrial work as a quantitative data analyst, with part-time statistics teaching. He has a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Toronto, an MS in Statistics from the University of Western Ontario, an MA in Economics from Simon Fraser University, and a BBA in Finance (minor in math) from Simon Fraser University. He continues his research in time series and prepares for the first level of the Financial Risk Management exam.
Orla R.
Orla is a recent graduate of Queen’s University, holding a dual degree in Global Development Studies and Concurrent Education, specializing in Primary/Junior education with a focus on supporting at-risk students. Currently, Orla works as an Occasional Teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board, where she is currently in a Long-Term Occasional Assignment within the Education Community Partnership Program. In this role, Orla supports students with exceptionalities who require specialized programming due to behavioural challenges, severe mental health issues, and health concerns that prevent them from being in a mainstream classroom.
Certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), Orla has significant experience working with Student’s from Kindergarten to Grade 12 students from diverse backgrounds. She is proficient in teaching all subjects at the Grade 1-6 levels and is committed to fostering inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environments where all students feel respected and empowered. Orla takes a holistic approach to education, focusing on her students’ academic, emotional, physical, and social development to help them navigate challenges and achieve their full potential. Through Orla’s experiences as a student teacher at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. In the Bloorview School in a grade 1 classroom in the Integrated Education and Therapy (IET) Program Orla found her passion for working with Children with Disabilities in a Hospital Setting, so Orla has decided since finishing her Bachelors of Education she is going to apply for her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy for September 2025! Outside of the classroom you can find Orla cooking, traveling, walking her dogs Murphy and Theo, working out/running, and spending quality time with her family!
Jasmine E-H.
Jasmine is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Toronto. In June 2024, she graduated from the University of Calgary with distinction, earning a Bachelor of Education specializing in Elementary Social Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communication and Culture with a minor in Psychology.
She brings a diverse background to her tutoring practice. Jasmine has previously worked as a Child Development Specialist, Developmental Aide, and full-time Homeschool Tutor. These roles allowed her to support students with ADHD, ODD, autism, learning disabilities, and giftedness. Her passion is in creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences tailored to each student’s needs and strengths.
As a certified teacher with both the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Ontario College of Teachers, Jasmine strives to instill a love of learning in every student she works with. Most of her formal teaching experiences have been in junior high settings (i.e. grades 7-9), but she has also worked with elementary and high school students in other capacities.
Outside of teaching and studying, Jasmine enjoys exploring Toronto’s vibrant neighbourhoods, reading across genres, and discovering new cafes and parks. She looks forward to supporting students’ educational journeys and helping them achieve their goals.
Sakshi K.
Sakshi is a graduate of McMaster University’s Master of Health Sciences program and York University’s Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences program. She has seven years of tutoring/mentoring experience with high school and university students. Her qualifications include Biology, Chemistry, General Science, Mathematics (grade 9-11) and English. She has worked as a teaching assistant and has both volunteering and employment experience in teaching students. Sakshi has also worked as an orientation leader for incoming university students to aid in their smooth transition from high school to university. Additionally, she has served as a Science Student Ambassador and as a peer leader where she has given leadership training to students in order to prepare them to uptake leadership roles throughout their academic careers. She is enthusiastic about enlightening students with knowledge and is motivated to fulfill the purpose of education. She believes in empowering students and is ready to help them achieve success in their academic endeavors. Her goal is to facilitate learning and motivate students to reach their full potential, guiding them in a positive direction.

Jeiny is an experienced Spanish Tutor with a Passion for Language and Communication
With over 20 years of experience in education, corporate consulting, and public speaking, She is dedicated to helping students develop their language skills through personalized and effective Spanish tutoring. Her diverse professional background, which spans from teaching at the university level to consulting in the corporate world, provides her with a unique approach to teaching and learning.
Jeiny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Diploma in Theatre and Improvisation from Venezuela. Additionally, she achieved a Certificate in Public Relations from Toronto Metropolitan University.
In addition to her work in corporate consulting, Jeiny is currently a Volunteer Facilitator at the Royal Ontario Museum, where she fosters public interest in science and biodiversity through engaging presentations. Her background in Theatre and Improvisation also allows her to bring creativity and energy to her Spanish lessons, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning experience for her students.

Samantha S-M.
Samantha has a Master of Science degree in Molecular Genetics as well as a Bachelor’s degree in biology and mathematics. Since high school Samantha has been tutoring a wide range of grade levels in math and science. Since University Samantha has focused on tutoring all math and science subjects. Samantha believes in fostering a positive tutoring environment which encourages students to become confident in their skills. Samantha encourages students to excel by being patient and using repetition when needed. Outside of tutoring Samantha enjoys playing piano, downhill skiing and listening to Taylor Swift.
Jaedyn C.
Jaedyn is an educator with a strong foundation in academics and mentorship. She recently graduated from York University’s Bachelor of Education program and became an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) in June of 2024, specializing in the Intermediate and Senior levels. Jaedyn also holds an undergraduate degree in Law and society with a minor in Anthropology from York University.
Outside the classroom, Jaedyn has gained extensive experience working with children, including leadership roles at TCE Camps and the Boys and Girls Club, where she worked with children ages 4 to 13. In these roles, she facilitated engaging programs aimed at fostering growth and development while gaining valuable experience tutoring at the elementary school level. Jaedyn’s own experience as a mentee in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program also gave her valuable insight into the importance of mentorship and guidance.
Jaedyn is committed to fostering the academic growth of her students, creating a positive and supportive environment where they can thrive. Outside of her teaching, you can often find her listening to music or reading for her book club in her spare time.
David H.
With over 25 years of progressive experience in education, David is a proud promoter of student self-advocacy and independence.
Having graduated from OISE’s Child Study program, David has gone on to teach K-12 in both public and independent schools across Canada and abroad, specializing in University Guidance, Senior English, Primary/Junior Language Arts, executive functioning/study skills, health and wellness support, and socio-emotional counselling.
With a Master of International Education (School Leadership) David has experience as Vice-Principal at TFS, Head of Enrichment at Bishop’s College School and Head of Student Support at West Island College, always believing that leadership is a service industry.
David is dedicated to supporting kids who need a hand. He knows how to inspire students, and establish effective programming that fosters student involvement and parental confidence.
Ryan C.
Ryan is originally from the Big Island of Hawai’i and is an Ontario Certified Teacher. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Hawai’i and a Bachelors of Professional Studies for Primary/Junior (Honours with Distinction) from Niagara University.
Ryan uses a multimedia approach to accommodate various learning styles and believes in incorporating a student’s personal interests beyond the classroom into lesson plans to help with retention and comprehension.
In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, swimming, and fishing with his 8-year-old son. Next on their list: Brazilian jiu-jitsu!
