MICHELLE P.
Michelle is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from York University, earned through the Concurrent Program. As an Ontario Certified Teacher, she specializes in the Primary/Junior Division and has taught grades K-6 across both public and private schools. Michelle is pursuing French certifications at the University of Toronto, with plans to attain FSL additional qualifications in the coming year.

OLIVERA M.
Olivera earned her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto Scarborough. With a strong passion for child development and education, she will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Her experience attending an IB school in Europe gives her unique insight into the program’s curriculum, particularly in the sciences, including Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. Olivera has extensive experience in one-on-one tutoring, with a special focus on intermediate and senior math and science subjects.
Her teaching style is interactive and learner-centered, aiming to empower students and inspire a lifelong love of learning—a passion she deeply shares. In her free time, Olivera enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
DUSAN P.
Dusan is a graduate student at the University of Toronto, focusing on bioinformatics research in pediatric sarcoma at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University. With a strong passion for science education, Dusan has extensive experience in teaching high school math and science and in mentoring undergraduate students. In addition to his academic and tutoring work, he is actively involved in volunteering, including his current role at SickKids. JUSTIN R.
Justin Riley is an OCT-certified teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring elementary and high school students. Currently he is working in the York Region District School Board (YRDSB). He holds an undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Science in Education from Medaille College. Justin is highly qualified in Social Sciences, Accounting, Economics, Business, and English courses. He believes in integrating humor and culturally relevant pedagogy to connect with students, making content relatable and enjoyable for all learners. Lily has a Master’s degree in Mathematics & Statistics from York University. She also holds a B.Ed. from OISE. Lily is a confident and skilled teacher with more than 10 years of experience helping students with math. Lily is patient, compassionate and strives to provide students with the courage to work up to their potential. Lily is committed to work closely with families to help their children reaching their goals. Lily is specialized in all high school math courses including: MTH1W, MPM2D, MFM2P, MCR3U, MCF3M, MHF4U, MCV4U, MDM4U. In addition, Lily is experienced in helping students with the University of Waterloo’s Math Competition for all levels. Lily likes to read Mysteries, such as those by P.D. James, and to spend quality time with her family, including a Poodle named Stella.
CHRISTINE D.
Christine Duff is a very experienced Special Education Teacher who is passionate about empowering students to excel in school. Christine brings to her lessons lots of colorful hands-on learning materials and games, as well as an infectious attitude that makes learning much more fun! Christine loves working with individual students – as well as their families – to better understand how learning differences can impact experiences in the classroom, as well as academic performance. Christine spends 1-1 time with each student to ensure that they are equipped with the kinds of skills and strategies that will help them to gain more confidence and independence – and improve their overall grades!
Christine is qualified to lead academic tutoring and coaching programs for students in Elementary School, Middle School, and High School, as well as those in college and university. Hello! My name is Sabrina McLennon and I am a student at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Pharmacology and History. My strong foundation in Life Sciences and the Humanities has given me the breadth and confidence to support young students in developing a love for learning and achieving their academic ambitions. I am passionate about working with elementary students and offer tutoring to children in a variety of topics including English (Writing & Language), Science (Biology & Chemistry), and Math. Additionally, I have experience working as an Assistant Teacher at Spirit of Math Inc for grades 2, 3, & 6. Through modern technology, visual aids, and personalized lesson plans, I hope to foster an engaging, creative, and dynamic learning environment.

Man Lu holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. With a strong background in both chemistry and engineering, she has developed a deep understanding of these fields, which she effectively imparts to her students. Specializing in high school education, Man focuses on teaching calculus and chemistry, helping students grasp complex concepts with clarity and confidence. She is deeply passionate about education, always striving to encourage and motivate her students.
In addition to her work with high school students, Man has three years of experience teaching university-level courses in calculus, engineering mathematics, and chemistry. Her experience at the university level has honed her ability to address diverse learning needs, ensuring that her students not only learn but also excel.
RICHARD C.
Richard has a PhD in protein chemistry and an MSc in clinical bioinformatics, and is now a BEd student at York University, undertaking a career change to be a high school biology and chemistry teacher. He is keen to share his vast knowledge of and passion for both science and math, and believes in the value of education, and learning for the sake of learning. He has been tutoring for a couple of years already in math grades 7 through 11 and science through to grade 12, as well as working as a teaching assistant at an alternative school, working with students to help meet their unique needs.
Richard is originally from England, where he had a successful career as a professional scientist in universities, hospitals, and analytical laboratories, giving him a broad knowledge of the range of scientific careers and the key scientific skills that unite them. He also volunteered in Armenia at a research institute and an orphanage for disabled children, relishing the unique challenges of this experience.
MARGARIDA C.
Margarida is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a commitment for learning and student engagement. With a double major in English and History, she then finished her Bachelor of Education in the Junior/Intermediate/Senior divisions. She worked for the TCDSB for 31 years teaching a wide range of high school subject areas – English, History, Geography, Religious Education, Student Leadership, and GLE (Learning Strategies). She also held roles in Special Education, Student Leadership Program Development and as a Department Head.
Margarida believes that the pathway to success lies in a student’s understanding of their learning styles and seeing their potential, with positive support and individualized instruction. When students enjoy learning, they will do better. She looks forward to motivating students to find success and, more importantly, to realize fulfillment in the coursework they are engaged in.
When Margarida finds some free time, she enjoys baking, reading, spending as much time with family and friends as she can, and has embarked on her own learning journey with sewing.
