“Sue” is certified to teach Grades 1-8, in addition to Special Education PK-12. She is a graduate of Texas A & M University and has over two decades of diverse teaching experiences like working in Public and Private Schools, including a Private Autism School. She has also Homeschooled and has served as a College Developmental Reading Adjunct.
Sue is available to tutor Kindergarteners through Adults in Reading, ELA, and Study Skills. She includes Math for Elementary Level Students.
In addition to her passion for education, Sue has a fondness for animals, gardening, and the Houston Astros.

Mrs. Maggie B. has been a teacher and school administrator for 19 years and she loves to watch students succeed and grow. She has a bachelor’s degree in Literature from The University of North Florida and a Masters degree from The University of Texas San Antonio in Educational leadership and Curriculum & Instruction. She spent much of her own school days in Europe where she formed a love for traveling and other cultures. That love translated into her classroom when she traveled with her students to numerous countries and showed them the world! In the classroom, she taught high school English, writing, drama and acting. She has taught many different sciences and medical courses to diverse students in high school and college. She has a Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, a M.A. in Molecular Biology, and a B.S. in Honors Zoology. Her passion is teaching the wonder and literacy of science to students and helping them to reach their educational potential. Caillie has worked as a tutor for about ten years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After graduating from college, she immediately found a passion for tutoring. She recently moved to San Antonio, Texas, and currently works as a Professional Writing Tutor for the Alamo Colleges. She has tutored all ages and grade levels in English, writing, and math (including algebra, geometry, and statistics). Rolando S.
Originally from Chicago, Rolando moved to San Antonio where he recently completed a 20-year career at the community college level. Rolando has been able to use his academic background in economics, business, and higher education to travel and make an impact as an educator and volunteer. He was part of a group that traveled to Bahrain and Qatar in order to raise awareness, understanding, and cooperation between educators in the United States and the Middle East. Also, as a part of a volunteer mission, Rolando participated in a trip to provide economics and business practice workshops in Peru. In addition, he was a guest lecturer at The Hague University for six-month period. Finally, Rolando traveled to Cuba to explore the possibility of conducting research about entrepreneurs. As a result of his travels, Rolando considers himself to be a global learner and strives to impart that knowledge and experience to his students. His desire is that not only will they be successful in the classroom, but will also explore the world with curiosity and recognize the value of others in the global community. In his spare time, Rolando roots for all Chicago sports teams, loves to read, to cook new dishes, is a borderline gym rat, and is a self-proclaimed cinephile (he insists that Die Hard IS a Christmas movie).

Anne Wells graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies, Pre-Med, and from Boston University with a Master of Science in Medical Sciences. *She is currently an MD-PhD candidate at UT Health San Antonio and is really passionate about enhancing and increasing access to STEM education for the next generation. As an undergraduate and graduate student, Anne worked as a professional tutor where she specialized in test prep (SAT, ACT, ISEE, GRE, MCAT) as well as subject tutoring (Mathematics K-12, Statistics, Calculus I/II, Spanish, English, Essay Writing). Esmeralda T. is the Head Start ERSEA/Early Childhood Enrollment Coordinator at South San Antonio ISD. A proud graduate of Concordia University Austin, she was inspired to pursue a career in education after attending nursing school and working with children during pediatric clinicals. She decided that children were where her heart was. Before working at South San Antonio ISD, she was a Bilingual Teacher at Edgewood ISD where they were responsible for teaching pre-k and kinder students cognitive skills and helping develop social-emotional competencies for school readiness.
