Alexys is a university student obtaining her BA in psychology, with the intention of working towards pursuing a doctorate. She has a passion for working with kids and is experienced. She has been working with the City of Brampton for 3 years as a program instructor. She has run various recreational programs for kids, including writers craft, STEM, art, and much more. She enjoys working in a classroom setting with kids and being able to help them develop their skills and passions. From her experience with teaching kids she has always found many ways to make sure all her students feel safe and comfortable while learning and she is able to cater to any need of her students to ensure that they remained focused and engaged with their learning. Pablo is a native Spanish teacher. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training, making him the ideal choice for learning French and Spanish. He recently arrived from France, where he spent two years of his life perfecting his French and working as a Spanish language assistant at a high school. Danky began his journey as an educator at Humber College, where he completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. He later earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Studies from the University of Guelph Humber, and went on to graduate from the Master of Teaching (Primary/Junior) program at the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. He is now a certified OCT teacher.
Danky has experience teaching children across the primary/junior grades in various classroom settings, where he designed and implemented engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons in Mathematics, Science and Language Arts aligned with the Ontario Curriculum. His approach emphasizes inclusive practices, student relationships, and hands-on, inquiry based learning that supports the diverse needs of every learner.
In addition to his classroom experience, Danky has worked in early learning and community settings, including summer camp programs for school aged children, and after school programs. These roles strengthened his skills in fostering positive social development, promoting creativity, and building supportive relationships with students and families.

Elizabeth is a seasoned educator with 30 years of diverse teaching experiences. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a Bachelor of Education Degree, an ESL (Part 1) diploma, Religious Education, Part I, and she has completed an AQ course in how to effectively teach students in Grades 4-6. Elizabeth is insatiably curious and continues to develop her mind through reading and listening to podcasts about AI, origin of the universe, genetics, educational issues/pedagogical practices and a myriad of fiction and non-fiction texts. Sabrina D. B.
Sabrina is beginning her 23rd year as an elementary school educator for the Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board. She developed a passion for children from a very young age and knew she wanted to pursue a career in education, leading her to begin volunteering in daycares, schools, and babysitting in her early teen years. Sabrina received a double major degree in French and Italian Language and Linguistics from the University of Toronto and subsequently went into the Faculty of Education at York University. She began teaching right after graduation and embarked upon a versatile professional journey with students of all ages. The majority of her experience is in the elementary classroom in the junior and intermediate divisions, however she is also specialized in early reading strategies and has helped several children bridge the gaps in their literacy skills in the primary grades, summer school sessions, and private tutoring. Additionally, Sabrina acted as an instructional coach for her school board to mentor teachers in their daily teaching practices, with an emphasis on numeracy, literacy, inquiry and technology. Sabrina also has French, Italian, and Religion as teachables for high school, which led her to take on a position for modern languages on Saturdays with Grade 11-12 students. Although this was an enriching experience, her passion remains with guiding younger children along their personal learning endeavors. In her spare time, Sabrina is an advocate for wellness and mental well-being. She embeds this philosophy within her classroom to create a comfortable and safe learning space for her students by incorporating daily mindfulness activities to coach them on how to manage stress and their emotions. Sabrina makes her own well-being a priority by remaining active on a daily basis – through nature hikes, yoga practice, and strength training – and practicing her own mindfulness techniques through prayer, reading, and journaling.
