Ram is an Ontario Certified Teacher and is fully qualified to teach English to Intermediate & Senior grades. He started his educational journey at the University of Waterloo where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. While serving as an English tutor at one of his placements, he realized the field of education was the perfect professions for him. Since then, Ram completed his Masters of Education from OISE/University of Toronto and is excited about working with students as a teacher, tutor and educator and helping them with all aspects of English Language – reading/comprehension, writing & research skills. In his spare time, Ram is a sports fan and loves to read fiction and listen to music.

Hello I’m Pina, a retired Ontario Certified Teacher with 30 years teaching experience in Ontario public schools in the Primary/Junior Division including French. I’ve also taught Grades 9 and 10 Math.
I am passionate about helping children overcome their fear of failure. Communication is key. Students are successful when parents, children and teachers communicate and work together.
When I’m not tutoring, you can find me creating original works of art in ceramics and stained glass, volunteering in the community or learning a new language online.

Jonathan is an Ontario certified high school teacher with over 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. He completed his undergraduate degree in math and economics at Queen’s University, followed shortly by his Bachelor of Education. Currently, he is completing his Master of Professional Education at Western University, where he is specializing in the field of mathematics education. As part of his education, Jonathan has traveled across Europe, teaching at different schools to understand the differences between educational systems. Since discovering his passion for teaching in high school, he has explored many different areas of education but always comes back to teaching his main passion, math. Jonathan is an energetic and engaging teacher who prioritizes a strong student-teacher connection to meet the unique needs of each student. In his spare time, he enjoys working out and playing a variety of board games, with his favourite being chess. He hopes to show you how to enjoy learning math as much as he loves to teach math!

Meet Jenn! She has an undergrad degree in Business Management with a focus on Stats & French and is currently a teacher candidate at Lakehead University completing her Bachelor of Education. Jenn has worked with elementary students, covers all elementary subjects, and is very strong in Math & French. She has tutored students in Math & French to G12 and is very familiar with the Ontario curriculum. Through her teaching placements with the school board & her experience working at the YMCA, Jenn has developed skills in classroom management & varying teaching techniques. Jenn has a great rapport with her students and adapts her teaching style to all kinds of learners.

Raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Alessia pursued her academic journey with a strong focus on early childhood education. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development with Applied Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University, where she developed her skills and deepened her enthusiasm for teaching. During the summer months, Alessia engages in educational camps and hands-on activities that emphasize STEM, science, and problem-solving skills, ensuring that children have enriching learning experiences. STEPHANIE A.
Stephanie is an enthusiastic teacher candidate with her OCT transitional certificate (2024), holding a bilingual Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology from York University (2022) and a Bachelor of Education from Lakehead University (2025), specializing in Intermediate and Senior education. During school, she excelled in French, Chemistry, Biology and tutors these subjects as well as G9/10 Math & Science, G11 Functions & G12 Advanced Functions.
Stephanie prioritizes being able to connect with her students. She is always in the know about what’s going on in students’ worlds and makes sure to deliver her lessons in a language that students can not only relate to, but also comfortably internalize. She tailors her lessons to emphasize students’ strengths and to encourage students to become comfortable with the material in the ways that best facilitate their learning.
Outside of running science experiments for her students, Stephanie spends her afternoons playing volleyball or curled up in a chair with a good book and her cat, Lily
