Direct Instruction Reading Mastery Program: Our tutors offer a direct instruction reading mastery program that is designed to help students struggling with reading comprehension. This program is 90% review based and uses carefully developed and fully-scripted directions to help students to retain information long term and develop comprehension at a faster rate.
The Wilson Reading System: This program is designed to suit the educational needs of students with dyslexia or other language-based learning disabilities. Tutors executing this program exercise the Orton-Gillingham method; which is the concept of utilizing multi-sensory instruction through reading, listening, seeing, etc., which helps students to retain literacy comprehension.

Mark Pafume is a mentor, coach and entrepreneur who has been proud to call Oklahoma City his home for over a decade. With a true passion for developing the potential in others, Mark has spent the last 15 years helping people from all walks of life to find their purpose, apply their strengths, and excel in ways they never thought possible. As a father, Mark has been insistent on ensuring that the best educational opportunities are available in the community where he lives and is thrilled to have added Prep Academy Tutors to that effort. Outside of the office, Mark enjoys developing his talents as a musician, cook and carpenter. When the weather’s nice, you can often find Mark and his family cycling around Lake Hefner or throwing a football at Scissortail Park.
