Sai N.

Sai is a motivated graduate student at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he is pursuing a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering with the ultimate goal of applying to medical school and becoming a physician. He is hoping to work at the intersection of patient care and cutting edge medical technology. Sai graduated high school with 37 transferable AP credits; this in conjunction with his Biology undergraduate background and Engineering graduate background makes Sai a strong candidate for STEM subjects with a solid understanding of Math up to Calculus 2/BC, Chemistry from high school to Organic Chemistry 2 at the collegiate level, AP Physics, and PSAT/SAT and ACT Prep.
Alongside his academic pursuits, Sai has copious experience volunteering and working with special needs children over multiple summers between academic seasons as well volunteering experience at multiple free clinics in San Antonio that provide medical care to those in need completely free of charge to the patient. Through these activities, Sai has developed a deep affinity for working with people of all kinds of people and sharing a love for learning through companionship. Daniel S.

Daniel is a third-year undergraduate student at UBC studying the Neuromechanical and Physiological Sciences under the School of Kinesiology. His academic pursuits encompass the disciplines of biomechanics, anatomy and physiology, and developmental psychology. Over the past 3 years, Daniel has had independent tutoring experience with kids as young as 10 and as old as 17, guiding students through junior-level subjects such as introductory paragraph formation and fraction addition, all the way to senior-level sciences, pre-calculus, and analytical essay writing.

Kyle is an experienced BC licensed science teacher with 14 years of
experience in as a classroom teacher. He completed a Bachelor of Science
in Biology/Chemistry at the University of Alberta as well as a Bachelor
and Master of Education at the University of Victoria and the University
of New Brunswick respectively. Over the years, Kyle has taught many
science courses including Science 10, Biology 11/12, Chemistry 11/12, AP
Chemistry and Physics 11/12. With a passion for inspiring learning and a
knack for making complex concepts accessible, Kyle provides
individualized hands on supports for each learner. His goal is to
empower each learner with the confidence and skills they need to succeed
academically and beyond. When Kyle is not teaching, he loves to travel
around the world and immerse himself in new cultures in far-away and
unique places such as Mongolia, Madagascar and Papua New Guinea.

Aude L.

EN: Aude is starting her Masters degree in medical physics iafter completing her bachelors in the honours physics program at McGill University. She graduated from Champlain Ste-Lawrence CEGEP on the Dean’s list in 2023 with a degree in pure and applied sciences. She was awarded the Governor General’s medal for her high school journey. She has tutored students from kindergarten all the way to CEGEP for over two years in English as well as in French. She is passionate about science, especially regarding space and the early mysteries of our universe. You can often find Aude looking up at the sky, eager to identify constellations and planets in the sky. She also loves art, music and any winter sport.

FR: Aude commence une maitrise en physique médicale après avoir complété son baccalauréat au programme « Honours Physics » de l’université Mcgill. Elle a gradué du programme des sciences pures et appliquées du CEGEP Champlain Ste-Lawrence sur la liste d’honneurs en 2023. Elle a également reçu la médaille du gouverneur général pour son parcours académique au secondaire. Elle a travaillé comme tuteur depuis plus de deux ans auprès d’élèves d’âge primaire jusqu’au CEGEP en anglais ainsi qu’en français. Ashley Aemisegger is a full time IB Physics Teacher in NY. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and a Master’s degree in secondary education from Grand Canyon University (Arizona) with a focus in STEM.

Ashley especially loves helping students understand difficult subjects. 

In addition to classroom teaching, Ashley has extensive experience tutoring high-school students in physics, calculus, and algebra, and prides herself on adjusting her instruction to meet each student’s needs. 

Growing up in the military gave Ashley a unique appreciation for different cultures and experiences.

Shivani J.

Shivani Jain is passionate about helping students excel in math and science. She has 13 years of experience working with middle-school, high-school, and college students.

Shivani has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in math, physics, and chemistry — as well as a master’s degree in International Business.

She is an ideal math tutor for students in algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, calculus (1, 2, AP, AB, and BC), physics, and chemistry. In addition, Shivani thrives on helping middle- and high-school students prepare for Mathcounts and AMC 8/10 competitions.

EN: Ali is a McGill University Biology graduate, currently pursuing a Master’s in Surgical and Interventional Sciences and planning to study medicine. Ali is passionate about tutoring Math, Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology at various levels. He is a motivator to his students and he encourages them to further their knowledge as well as their skill sets. He also loves to play soccer and basketball in his free time!
