HIYA S.
Hiya has been tutoring since grade 9, and teaching has become a favourite part of her week. She loves helping students feel confident, supported, and proud of what they can achieve. Over the years, she has worked with students from many different grade levels and different learning styles, and she always enjoys finding the best way to help each person learn.
Hiya is currently completing her second master’s degree in Health Informatics, which combines mathematics, problem solving, and health sciences. She is also an incoming medical student, having been accepted to Medical School for next year.
Understanding that every student learns differently, she always personalizes her teaching. She want each session to feel positive, comfortable, and motivating. Her overall goal is to help students trust their abilities and enjoy the learning process, even when the material feels tough.
A fun fact about Hiya is that she can speak four languages, and has recently completed a 10K run. Outside of tutoring, she enjoys staying active, exploring new hobbies, and finding creative ways to make learning more fun.
Dylan W-M.
Dylan is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a strong background in mathematics and physics education. He holds a Bachelor of Science in physics and astronomy from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University, specializing in Intermediate–Senior Physics and Mathematics.
Dylan has taught a wide range of high school math and physics courses from grades 9-12. Dylan also had the opportunity to teach English overseas to ELL students in Norway. During his teaching experiences in Ontario and Norway, he created unique. engaging activities, integrated fun learning tools like Desmos and Scratch, and supported students through additional help sessions to strengthen their confidence and skills.
Beyond the classroom, Dylan has several years of tutoring experience at both the high school and post-secondary levels. He helps guide students through challenging math and physics concepts by breaking problems down step-by-step and explaining them in intuitive ways. He also creates personalized review materials to target exactly what each student needs. His teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building strong problem-solving skills.
When not teaching, Dylan enjoys travelling, reading fiction, working out, playing video games and cooking for friends and family.

Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (with a concentration in Mathematics and Data Science) and is currently pursuing advanced studies in Data Analytics at SAIT. Having worked with numerous students across Calgary through multiple top tutoring agencies, he brings a deep, practical familiarity with the local curriculum.

Nigah T. (NT) is a dedicated BMOS Finance and Administration graduate from Western University. She brings advanced professional expertise from her work in Data Analytics and Business Innovation, giving her a real-world perspective that truly elevates her tutoring. Josef Stetter is an Ontario educator and Assistant Curriculum Leader for Business and Co-op at Georges Vanier Secondary School, known for inclusive, real-world teaching that meets learners where they are. He holds a B.Ed. from Lakehead University and a B.A. in Economics from York University, along with wide-ranging Additional Qualifications that equip him to teach most subjects across Grades 1 through 12, including Math, Science, all Business strands, Social Sciences (world religions, philosophy, psychology), Humanities, Geography, History, English and ESL, Life and Learning Skills, Public Speaking and Debate, and French. He has taught and tutored broadly across these areas and continues to coach learners of all ages. In his current role, Josef expanded Business SHSM participation and led a large DECA cohort to regional and provincial success and had one student win the world Championship in her category beating out 25,000 students, while supervising diverse co-op placements that help students connect class to careers. Gurleen K. is a dedicated and knowledgeable educator with a strong academic and professional foundation in Chemistry. Christopher S.
Christopher S. is a teacher candidate at Western University. He completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He later finished his Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo where he studied the application of the CRISPR system in insect cells. Throughout his academic career, Christopher had the chance to teach many first-year engineering students where he realized that he had a passion for science communication. Christopher specializes in helping students learn math and science, and encourages students to think about how these subjects can relate to their everyday lives.
Ricky F.
Ricky is a Teacher Candidate at Western University, he previously received his B.A. Sc and M.A. Sc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Ricky worked as a teaching assistant in engineering, chemistry, and programming classes throughout his undergraduate and graduate career. He is passionate about helping students in their academic journeys. Ricky knew from a young age that he was interested in becoming a teacher. He was involved in the robotics team and math club in high school, which are subjects he hopes to support as a full time teacher.
Outside of teaching, Ricky continues to expand his technical skills through personal programming projects across various fields of computer science. He enjoys applying computational thinking to real-world problems and integrating technology into learning experiences. Chandreen L.
Chandreen holds a research-based Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Lakehead University, Canada, where she was awarded a full scholarship. She also holds an MSc in Information Technology and a BSc specializing in Computer Science.
Chandreen has several years of teaching experience as a Lecturer at a leading public university in Sri Lanka and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Lakehead University. In addition, she has previous tutoring experience supporting school-age students in IT, helping them strengthen their understanding and succeed in their studies. Alongside her teaching work, she has professional experience in IT support, software development, and web development, which allows her to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications.
