Airanee Galmon is a passionate tutor with a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s degree from Southern University and A&M College. KIAYANA B.
Kiayana is a certified teacher in Alberta and holds a Bachelor of Education with minors in Social Studies and History. She has experience teaching Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 6, and has also worked as a Diverse Learning Teacher. Her background includes working as a Preschool Teacher, where she focused on fine motor development, letter formation, and early phonics skills. In addition to her classroom teaching, Kiayana has worked as a Behavioural Aide supporting a student with Autism and ADHD. Through this role, she gained experience in social-emotional learning, functional language development, and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Kiayana is especially passionate about literacy. She has worked as a Reading Instructor for two years and has supported a wide range of learners, including those with complex needs, to build confidence and skills in reading. She is patient, flexible, and committed to fostering a growth mindset. Kiayana values creating fun, engaging learning environments and building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with her students to help them grow both academically and personally.
Lucas J.
Lucas Jacob has taught and tutored writing, literature, and reading to grades 6-12 for more than 30 years, in private, public, and public-charter schools across the United States and in Budapest, Hungary, where he was a Fulbright Fellow. He holds a B.A. in English and African/African-American Studies from Carleton College (Phi Beta Kappa; magna cum laude) and an M.A. (with highest honors) in writing and literature from Temple University. Luke has published nearly 100 essays, poetry, and works of fiction in trade journals (including Education Week and Independent School Magazine) and literary magazines (including Southwest Review and Chicagoland’s venerable RHINO). His first two full-length collections of poems have come out in the past six years, from Eyewear Publishing (London, UK) and Next Page Press (San Antonio, TX). He currently serves as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Media Literacy Education and he is working on both his first middle grades novel and his first mystery novel for adult audiences, which goes to show that even when he is not teaching reading and writing he is…well…reading and writing.
Grace F.
Grace F. is earning her degree in Elementary Education at North Central College, where she has maintained a high GPA and earned a spot on the Dean’s List for six consecutive semesters. Originally from Elmhurst, she discovered her love of teaching while helping classmates with writing, research, and public speaking. What started as casual tutoring turned into a true passion for supporting students.
Grace has worked with learners from early childhood through middle school, developing creative, student-centered lessons through daycare and summer programs. She believes every child learns differently and thrives on adapting instruction to meet individual needs.
Through her college placements, Grace has taught in 1st through 4th grade classrooms and supported 5th grade accelerated math, gaining experience in literacy, math, and science. She also helps students strengthen executive functioning skills like organization, planning, and time management—because sometimes, learning how to learn is the biggest lesson of all.
Outside the classroom, Grace enjoys birdwatching and exploring the outdoors. Her love of animals and education came together through the Greater Chicago Cage Bird Society, where she taught scout groups about bird care and behavior. She’s been helping students—and birds—take flight ever since.

Anvitha Ellanki is a dedicated tutor from San Antonio, Texas, who blends academic excellence with a deep passion for mentoring and service. EN: As an educator of 7+ years, Hannah (she/her) is eager to help students with social sciences, technical writing skills, reading comprehension, essay outlining, executive skills, and ESL conversation. Outside of tutoring, Hannah is a Ph.D. student in the Social and Cultural Analysis program at Concordia University. Her research, generously funded by the Faculty of Arts and Science Fellowship, explores online communities — specifically LGBTQIA+ and other minority-led spaces — and alternative media creation. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Media Studies from Concordia, which allowed her to develop a web series pilot about positive representation for sapphic women and non-binary folks in online fandoms. She likewise holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in English from the University of Regina with a concentration in creative writing. Professionally, she has experience as a researcher, instructor, journalist, and actress in film, theatre, and television. Hannah is passionate about intersectional feminist filmmaking, creative writing, and archival research.
In her spare time, she also enjoys volunteering for Archives gaies du Québec.

Aidan M. is a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he focused on Data Analytics and Cloud Networking. He has over two years of experience tutoring math at a private institution and currently teaches all levels of math through Pre-Calculus, as well as computer science, physics, and English. Known for his clear and structured teaching style, Aidan emphasizes a foundational approach: identifying gaps in understanding and guiding students step by step until they feel confident tackling challenges independently. A UT graduate and published author, William has been tutoring for over 6 years and specializes in Digital SAT/ACT Test Prep. His teaching style is personal, relaxed, engaging, and most of all, fun. “I believe that the student’s comfortability is essential to their learning,” William says, “They have to actually enjoy being there.” All of William’s students have seen large increases in SAT and ACT scores, with the vast majority being accepted to at least one of the schools of their choice. “I attribute most of my success with my students to my ability to relate to them on a personal level. Creating a comfortable and engaging environment in which they can be themselves and open up is the only way to really help them find their drive.
