Shabibah M.

EN: Shabibah is a student studying Sciences at the University of Toronto. She graduated from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Health Science. She is fluent in both English and French and is comfortable teaching in either language. Shabibah has experience tutoring students at the elementary and early high school levels. ENG: Lea Abdo is a student at McGill University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical, Biological and Life Sciences, majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology. She is recognized for her academic achievements, graduating from Saint Joseph High School in Saskatoon, on Principal’s Honor Roll with distinction, and a Bilingual Diploma. Lea also achieved first place provincially in the Concours d’art oratoire (Advanced French category) for both grades 11 and 12.
In addition to her academic success, Lea brings extensive experience working with children through babysitting and volunteer roles at community organizations, churches, and multicultural events such as Folkfest Saskatoon.
Lea is also active in student leadership, serving as Vice President of Sponsorship & Fundraising for McGill Hemoglobal, and a Student Ambassador for the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology.

Alexander O.

ENG: Born and raised in Montreal, Alexander has firsthand experience with the Quebec curriculum. Fluent in English and French, he is most in his element tutoring high school and CEGEP students in math, physics, and music theory. Since 2018, Alexander has accrued teaching experience through peer tutoring, leading workshops in elementary and high schools, and providing online tutoring with elementary to college-aged students. Studying both classical music and pure and applied sciences at Vanier College (graduating on the dean’s honour list), he has mentored students in both disciplines. Alexander continued his studies at McGill University, where he was awarded many scholarships for academic excellence. While obtaining a bachelor’s degree in music performance, he also completed several courses in physics and minored in the German language. Though he spent much of his life pursuing music, Alexander’s first love was in math and sciences, and being related to several teachers he has always wanted to be an educator. In the fall of 2025 he returned to sciences at Concordia University, planning to complete degrees in physics and education and to teach science at the high school or CEGEP level.

Depuis 2018, il a accumulé de l’expérience en tutorat en aidant ses camarades de classe, en s’engageant dans des ateliers avec des élèves d’école primaire et secondaire et en travaillant en ligne avec des étudiants du primaire jusqu’au CEGEP. Ayant été formé au Collège Vanier en musique et sciences naturelles, il a donc aidé des étudiants dans les deux disciplines. Alexander a poursuivi ses études à l’Université McGill, où il a accumulé plusieurs bourses pour son excellence académique. Pendant qu’il obtenait son baccalauréat en interprétation musicale, il a complété plusieurs cours de physique et a pris l’allemand comme matière seconde.Malgré qu’il se soit concentré pendant plusieurs années sur la musique, ses premières passions restent les mathématiques et les sciences. Ayant plusieurs proches qui enseignent, il a toujours voulu devenir professeur. En automne 2025, Alexander est retourné aux étudesen sciences à l’Université Concordia, visant à étudier la physique et l’éducation pour devenir enseignant au niveau secondaire ou collégial.

Laure B.

ENG: Laure is currently completing her Bachelor Degree in Kindergarten and Elementary Education with a French immersion minor. She graduated from Cégep du Vieux Montréal with a degree in Social Studies, during which she had the opportunity to participate in a field experience in an Indigenous community in Mexico. She has worked at a summer camp for the past four years, where she has met various groups of kids from different backgrounds. She has a strong passion for culture, particularly in finding ways to integrate it into language teaching.

FR: Laure est actuellement en train de compléter son baccalauréat en enseignement préscolaire et primaire avec une mineure en immersion française. Diplômée en sciences humaines du Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, elle a eu l’occasion de participer à un stage dans une communauté autochtone au Mexique. Elle travaille dans un camp d’été depuis quatre ans, où elle a rencontré divers groupes d’enfants de différents milieux. Passionnée par la culture, elle s’efforce de l’intégrer à l’enseignement des langues.

Clément B.

Clément poursuit actuellement une maîtrise en Génie de la production automatisée à l’École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) de Montréal. Il est diplômé de l’École des Mines d’Alès, en France, où il s’est spécialisé en Performance Industrielle et Systèmes Mécatroniques. Titulaire d’un baccalauréat scientifique (spécialité mathématiques et physique-chimie), il a également suivi deux années de classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles (filière PCSI/PC), où il a développé une solide rigueur scientifique et une méthode de travail efficace.

Fort de plus de trois ans d’expérience dans l’enseignement, Clément a accompagné de nombreux élèves de niveaux variés, les aidant à surmonter leurs difficultés, à reprendre confiance et à progresser durablement. Sa pédagogie repose sur la clarté, la structure et l’adaptation à chaque profil.

Ses cours suivent une structure claire et flexible :

Natasha N.

Natasha is a third-year Kindergarten and Elementary Education student from McGill University, specializing in French Immersion teaching. She graduated from Collège Sainte Anne high school and got her CEGEP diploma from Collégial International Sainte Anne. She is an outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic leader who loves to bring creativity and positivity to every environment she’s part of. Proficient in three languages, English, French, and Italian, Natasha has gained extensive experience working with children of all ages, from toddlers to early teens. As a student teacher, camp counsellor, daycare volunteer, and babysitter, Natasha has gained hands-on knowledge in educational and recreational settings.

In addition to her teaching experience, Natasha is certified by the Canadian Red Cross in General First Aid and Babysitters First Aid, demonstrating her commitment to safety and responsibility when working with children. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys expressing herself through art, practicing yoga, hiking and reading. Looking ahead, Natasha hopes to pursue a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, where she aims to combine her love for education and child development to support children’s special needs.

Celina D-F

Celina is a board certified behaviour analyst (BCBA) with more than 8 years of experience working with neurodiverse individuals across the lifespan in daycares, homes, and schools. She has a bachelors in Psychology from McGill University and a Masters in Professional Education with a specialization in ABA from Western University of Ontario. She works closely with other professionals, and parents, to implement and disseminate a trauma-informed, compassionate, and learner-led ABA practice. Additionally, she provides parent coachings and trainings to professionals to further support her clients.
She is passionate about teaching, learning from, and collaborating with others to produce a global therapeutic approach.

Celina est une analyste du comportement certifiée (BCBA) avec plus de 8 ans d’expérience auprès de personnes neurodiverses de tous âges, en garderie, à domicile et en milieu scolaire. ENG: Audréane is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Kindergarten and Early Childhood Education at McGill University. Audréane is skilled in supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating inclusive, engaging learning environments. She is passionate about building strong relationships with children and their families and fostering a love of learning in every child.

Kat N.

ENG: Kat is a nursing student at McGill University, currently completing her final year in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. She earned her French high school diploma, graduating on the honors roll. Kat has experience tutoring younger students in grades 7 through 9, focusing on science and math within the Ontario curriculum. Through mostly self-organized after-school tutoring sessions, she supported students in working through assigned homework and guided them in preparing for unit tests and exams. She also taught English as a second language to elementary-aged children, where she designed weekly learning plans and created fun, interactive activities to help students practice and showcase their new knowledge.
In addition to her academic teaching, Kat has worked with children in other instructional contexts, most notably as a ski instructor. She taught technical skills as well as encouraged independence, responsibility, and safe decision-making on the slopes.

Elle a obtenu son diplôme d’études secondaires en français avec distinction. Kat possède de l’expérience en tutorat auprès d’élèves de la 7e à la 9e année, surtout en sciences et en mathématiques selon le curriculum Ontarien. Elle a mis en place des séances de tutorat hors les heures d’école afin de soutenir les élèves dans la réalisation de leurs devoirs et la préparation de leurs évaluations. Elle a également enseigné l’anglais comme langue seconde à des enfants du primaire, pour lesquels elle a conçu des plans d’apprentissage hebdomadaires et créé des activités ludiques et interactives afin de leur permettre de pratiquer et de mettre en valeur leurs nouvelles connaissances.
En plus de son expérience académique, Kat a travaillé avec des enfants dans d’autres contextes d’enseignement, notamment comme monitrice de ski. Elle a enseigné les techniques de base tout en encourageant l’autonomie, le sens des responsabilités et la prise de décisions sécuritaires sur les pentes.

Sophia M.

Sophia is an undergraduate student at Concordia University, pursuing a degree in Biology. She is a graduate of Marianopolis College, where she studied Psychology and earned a Certificate with Distinction in Environmental Studies. Her academic path began at Royal Vale High School, where she developed a strong interest in the sciences.
In addition to her academic achievements, Sophia has gained meaningful experience working with children as a camp counselor since 2023. There, she was responsible for leading group activities, cultivating a supportive and engaging environment and fostering their social growth. Through this role, she developed strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, along with the ability to adapt her approach to suit different learning styles.
Her background in both psychology and biology provides Sophia with a unique perspective on education. She understands the importance of motivation and learning strategies while also being able to explain challenging concepts in a clear and approachable way. She is committed to helping students build not only academic skills, but also confidence and curiosity that extend beyond the classroom.
