ROSEMARY K.

Rosemary K. is a dedicated NYC public school educator with more than 25 years of teaching and tutoring experience, specializing in history, government, and writing instruction. She earned her B.A. in History and English from Binghamton University, an M.A. in History from Rice University, and an M.P.A. from Teachers College Columbia University. Rosemary also proudly served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zimbabwe, an experience that strengthened her passion for cultural understanding and global education.

Throughout her career, Rosemary has successfully taught and tutored AP World History, AP U.S. History, and AP U.S. Government, helping students build both confidence and mastery of challenging material. She believes every student learns differently and tailors her instruction to meet individual needs, learning styles, and academic goals. Rosemary works to make history engaging, relevant, and accessible by connecting lessons to real-world events and encouraging critical thinking.

In preparing students for AP and Regents exams, Rosemary incorporates standardized test materials and proven strategies to ensure students feel confident, prepared, and capable of achieving success.
